MASSCOOL UHB-UPS255 Aluminum 2.5

Pros: Its been a while since the original review and i have now got a laptop hdd that fits in it and it is plug an play in everything i have tried it in so far

Cons: The Second wire for power is kinda annoying but it needs the power and its less problematic than a wall cord

Other Thoughts: Its not super high quality or anything but it does the job well enough

GIGABYTE GeForce 8400 GS DirectX 10 GV-NX84S512HP 512MB 64-Bit GDDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card

  • neweggOwned For: more than 1 year

Pros: Was a mediocre card-even when it was new

Cons: It was one of 2 components that fell victim to a cheap psu in a secondary desktop. Luckily that was after it got pushed out of my main computer by the 4670 (which has been decommissioned to a secondary computer now also)

Other Thoughts: Pushed dual screen and thats about it...the 4670 that replaced it blew it out of the water in performance.

5 out of 5 eggs Why am I Reviewing this Again? 10/12/2013

This review is from: Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 Quad-Core 2.33 GHz LGA 775 95W BX80580Q8200 Processor

Pros: 4 and a half years into my ownership and several computer revisions later its still the processor in my primary desktop...i have a laptop that i use more now but for this c2q being as old as it is, as many corners as i cut building this rig originally, and as many updates as i have done to the rig, its still rolling right along ready to see what the next 4 years will bring

Cons: Its not a shiney new Haswell I7.....

Other Thoughts: Considering that its paired with a radeon 7770, has been paired with a 4670, a gt9600 and onboard graphics, and hasn't had issues with any of them, we are doing good. besides that there is the random offbrand psu's that were in this computer at one point (since replaced with a OCZ ZT 750 watt psu) and it still works like a champ...and better than quite a few cheap processors (Pentiums and Celerons and even some I3's)

Im Considering replacing it but not because its a bad processor...its Just getting to the point where its cheaper to replace the entire computer then it is to replace the mobo and ram to get more than the 4gb ddr2 i have currently in it.
