Pros: good motherboard
Cons: no issues
Other Thoughts: specs:
- Antec HCP-750 750W
- Intel i7 3770 3.4GHz
- G.Skill 1.25 1600 MHz 9-9-9-24
- Geforce 680 GTX
- Asus Sonar Essence STX
Pros: comes with ancient MAYA tiger
Cons: requires external power from molex, lacks 1/8" connector, but ancient MAYA tiger transcends all these!
Other Thoughts: I haven't received this product yet but I am already confident on its ability to perform. I've used top-of-the-line Creative products in the past, but they are really not that good in retrospect. Creative probably sources their products from Africa and uses even cheaper labor.
the difference between an audiophile grade card and a imitation one is as large as a mercedes vs. a economy car. I suggest seriously reconsidering your thoughts on "a good sound card."
I don't recommend this card for the average sound illiterate it depends on what your needs are. If you buy a Mercedes for someone who cannot drive you have wasted a lot of money.
Many people will say Creative has "crystal clear sound" but actually they are liars. Audiophile is completely different from having acceptable sound quality; audiophile means you are taking music to its perceived limit.
Anyways, breaking from Creative is wonderful. hi Creative, hope bankrupt soon!
