Cons: Drive was never recognized by my Motherboard(s). Initially bought it in 2012 to place in my Gigabyte GA-790XTA-UD4. It was never recognized by the BIOS. I posted in the Gigabyte forums, Gigabyte said it must be a bad drive. Since it was brand new, I kinda forgot about it, did not report to OCZ - figured the mobo wasn't supported.
I just bought a new Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3 mobo and multicore cpu, When I attached the SSD, it was not recognized by BIOS. I have filed this with OCZ 4 days ago, they say I should expect to get an RMA. Haven't heard anything else.
Other Thoughts: OCZ was very good about replacing some memory I purchased several years ago. I also think their Powersupplies are pretty high quality, been using one for 5 years. I wish they were a bit more forthcoming about the status of this SSD. Is it a known issue? Is it something I failed to do during installation? Any information would be appreciatedREAD FULL REVIEW
