SYBA SD-AUD20101 USB Stereo + SPDIF Combo Adapter, Optical Digital Output, Black
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: less than 1 day

Pros: cheap

Cons: Awful sound quality output. 1.7 volt DC offset on headphone jack as measured on a scope. DC current causes headphones to saturate and generate heavily distorted audio, even at low volume settings.

Other Thoughts: Have not tested input or SPDIF output, it may be just fine in those areas.

GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard

5 out of 5 eggs Works for me 09/07/2009

This review is from: GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Works for me, once I figured out how to connect the power supply!

Cons: no problems when operating board within spec

Other Thoughts: 1st board would not power up so I returned it and Newegg sent me another one. 2nd board wouldn't work either until I realized it was all my fault! I had connected the power supply's 2x3 PCI-E power cord into the motherboard 2x4 12V processor power socket. It's annoying that the plugs aren't unique, it does fit. Anyway after attaching the correct 2x2 12V power lead in the 12V processor power socket, all worked OK.
