This review is from: Rosewill RK-9000RE - Mechanical Keyboard with Cherry MX Red Switches
Pros: Feels excellent
Has a classic, professional look
Well spaced out with no wierd key placement or gimmicky things.
Really enjoyed it when i used it.
Cons: Mine broke in less than 3 months. The port that allows you to choose ps2 or USB connection is the weak point of the keyboard and WILL break. I read the reviews and said "Won't happen to me" but it does. It's just a stupid design choice. You know what you have. Nobody really ever needs that ability to switch. What, are you going to switch over to a PS/2 connection for fun sometimes cause you're bored of USB or something? Just buy one that comes with the connection you want. The slight increase of functionality that comes with ps/2 is not worth having this death sentence of a connection style ever.
Other Thoughts: I contacted Rosewill about how this and recieved an extremely unhelpful "Oh check out our wired ones! Thanks for your buisness" which assured me my complaint was not actually read by anyone and guarenteed that I would not ever consider a rosewill product again.
Newegg is an excellent company and offers wonderful service every time I do business with them and I do realize it's their house brand. I figured it'd have the same kind of service and quality but it doesn't.
That being said, If you find version of this keyboard that DOESNT have this downright stupid connection style, consider that one because it would make a major difference.
Pros: Extremely powerful. I've never had games run this smooth before. Renders videos and records quickly with no issues whatsoever.
Cons: Some people might say its expensive, but its gonna last for quite a few years
Other Thoughts: My previous build was an AMD 6 core 1100 TBE. It was able to handle everything but Rome 2 which was sluggish at best (the game is poorly optimized for everything). Now I can play it on extreme with high FPS and no slowdowns ever. It can work through anything.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Very fast, inexpensive card. Quiet and has plenty of outputs.
Cons: None that I know of. Anyone who says "It's too big" is just unfamiliar with how large powerful video cards are.
Other Thoughts: I bought this card and 2 weeks later my house was burglarized and my computer was stolen.I upgraded every single piece of equipment for my new build...except this one. You can't do much better for this price point.READ FULL REVIEW
