Does have dual BIOS switch

SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6950 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card (OC Edition) 11188-22-20G
SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6950 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card (OC Edition) 11188-22-20G

Pros: Runs everything I throw at it with no problems at max settings and well above 45-50 FPS. Does have the dual BIOS switch that is advertised on the Sapphire Tech website for this model (previous review claimed it did not) Price was fantastic at $199

Cons: It's not free? I couldn't afford 2 of them at the same time? Really, there aren't any cons that I've seen so far. Price is right and the product performs as advertised. I got exactly what I paid for.

Overall Review: I bought a HD 6870 OC edition from Gigabyte a few months ago and paid just as much as this card now. This card does perform better in every game I play and I didn't even OC it anymore yet. I haven't tried to unlock this card yet because frankly I'm not sure I really need to. I may try it just for posterity sake. I do want to take a moment to point out that this is the second card I've bought from Sapphire and they are both good buys. I know for a fact that the BIOS switch is on the card. It's next to the CFX uplink. You may miss it if you don't look very closely. It's not a very big switch, but it is there. You may have to use a small screwdriver or even a pair of tweezers to switch as my fingers don't reach in there, but it is there. Just wanted to clear that up from a previous post claiming it's not present.

WOW!

ASUS Radeon R9 280X 3GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 CrossFireX Support Video Card R9280X-DC2T-3GD5
ASUS Radeon R9 280X 3GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 CrossFireX Support Video Card R9280X-DC2T-3GD5

Pros: -Runs everything I throw at it @ 1080p 60fps on my TV with little effort. -Runs cool (around 60c) under full load

Cons: I'm upset about the price increase of these devices due to bit coin miners. They should probably look into some ASIC based solutions that would be better instead.

Overall Review: I have owned 3 EVGA top end cards in the past 2 years and I have had an R9 290X from MSI this year. All of those cards had some form of coil whine that was extremely distracting. I actually had to RMA the R9 290x and eventually settled on a refund from the manufacturer because of the ridiculous coil whine (even at low loads). I can say that this is my first ASUS GPU and there is absolutely no coil whine on this card. Even at 3000 FPS on the 3DMark benchmark it is quiet as a mouse.

Great Software

CyberLink PowerDVD 13 Ultra - Download
CyberLink PowerDVD 13 Ultra - Download

Pros: - Perfect playback of protected content - Loads faster than a PS3 - Supports the High Definition audio streams DTS-HD and Dolby True HD

Cons: - The price structure seems prohibitive (HD audio streams and 7.1 SS are only supported in the Ultra package)

Overall Review: The cost of this software is pretty high when you consider you can almost buy a free standing Blu Ray player for this amount that does everything this software does. They should probably consider dropping the price of ownership to around $50 for the Ultra and I bet they'd sell more.

Way to go Team RED!

MSI Radeon R9 290X 4GB GDDR5 Video Card R9 290X 4GD5 BF4
MSI Radeon R9 290X 4GB GDDR5 Video Card R9 290X 4GD5 BF4

Pros: Cost (Compared to my Nvidia purchase in past memory) Performance baby!! Goes toe to toe with the Titan at almost half the price.

Cons: None so far..... Maybe the initial driver support, but that should get better. You're probably expecting me to say something about the noise here.... Well, it's not as bad as all the youtuber's are saying. It's running in quiet mode and I see no need to up it any time soon to the Uber mode. My case is well ventilated and in a relatively cool room. I haven't overclocked it because frankly I don't need to and I'm ok with the 95C temp as long as it's backed up by warranty.

Overall Review: My NVIDIA GTX 680 SuperClocked scored 6748 in Fire Strike on a good day. My R9 290X scored a 9780 on the first run. My FPS went from the mid 20's to the high 50s and sometimes over 60. I'm very happy with what this card has to offer. I decided to pull the trigger on this and replace my GTX 680 SC from EVGA. I'm traditionally an AMD customer, but after watching their line of cards from the 4000 to the 6000 stall out (I bought more than 1 card per generation) I decided to go with team Green when Kepler released. It got RMA'd 3 times in a little over one year so I wasn't exactly stoked about Nvidia. So far, this one seems good to me. On a further note, I'm really excited about the possibilities that the Mantle API presents and I want to support that since I'm tired of having awesome hardware that can barely keep up with the consoles. I plan on using this for a SteamOS box in the future. Now... Let me address some other reviews on Newegg about this GPU. You can't install this card on a system with a 450 Watt power supply and expect it to work without draining your system to a hault. Also, get the beta drivers on AMD's website. I had no problem installing and getting this card up and running in less than 20 minutes.

Not a Router

TRENDnet 8-Port Unmanaged Gigabit GREENnet Desktop Metal Switch, Fanless, 16Gbps Switching Capacity, Plug & Play, Network Ethernet Switch, Lifetime Protection, Black, TEG-S80G
TRENDnet 8-Port Unmanaged Gigabit GREENnet Desktop Metal Switch, Fanless, 16Gbps Switching Capacity, Plug & Play, Network Ethernet Switch, Lifetime Protection, Black, TEG-S80G

Pros: This is a switch.... Not a router. It will not service DHCP requests nor will it route IP traffic.

Cons: None as long as you know what you're buying. This is an excellent switch. This will not serve as a router on your network.

Overall Review: For everyone complaining about this device not sharing internet with multiple devices, you need to understand the difference between a switch and a router. You have to have a router if you want to have more than one device connecting to your internet connection. This device will only switch datagrams otherwise known as frames and they contain absolutely no IP header information whatsoever. You don't have to use a TRENDnet router to resolve the problem and you don't have to pay for their tech support, however you do need a router. Period. Google Router vs. Switch and educate yourself on the difference. Routers operate at layer 3 of the OSI Model and Switches operate at layer 2. Before anyone questions my post, I'm a Sr. Network Engineer with years of experience in this field. I am a subject matter expert. It's a shame that TENDnet tech support can't explain this.

No Customer Service contact through phone or email

One day after I made my purchase, I tried to contact the seller to see if they could give me an expectation of the shipping information. I sent an email to their seller's email address through the Newegg marketplace. I received no answer and it's been 4 business days at the time of this review. I then contacted Newegg service the next day to request cancellation of the order because I have not received any word or a shipping update. I never heard back from the seller regarding that email either. I attempted to call the seller the same day using the numbers supplied on the Newegg seller page. The first number rang to a voice mail system and was for a different business altogether. The customer service number rang to an automated line asking me to participate in a short survey in order to win a cruise vacation. I emailed Newegg immediately following this to let them know that I was unable to reach the seller and they requested that I wait 2 business days for a response. At this point it has been 2 business days since the first email and 1 business day since the cancellation email. On the 3rd day I still received no answer. Now, it's 4 business days after the first email and I get notification that the payment was charged to my credit card and still have not gotten any responses to my 2 emails. I requested the transaction be canceled 3 full business days prior to my card being charged. I still have not received any word from the seller and now it appears that the order is on its way. Now, my only option will be to return the items unopened for a refund, but I'm going to be asked to pay a 15% restocking fee. The order should have been canceled 3 days prior to it shipping. I'm not happy at all with the way this seller has handled customer service and I will never be buying anything from them again. Shame on Newegg for letting this drag out for 3 business days with 0 actual resolution. After outstanding service I have received from Newegg over the past few years, I expected better. Bottom line, I should be able to email or call a seller and be able to communicate with them during regular business hours. I should get a response from the seller through email in a 1 day turn around; 2 days at max. LeFirma failed miserably at actual customer service / sales support.
