Pros: It has a great image, and is just the right size for my desk. It is nice and thin, so it doesn't take up much space on my desk either. I connect via HDMI and it is great.
Cons: It has this default energy saving mode that I haven't found out how to turn off yet. Basically, it'll turn off the monitor after a minute or so of inactivity. It makes doing homework at my computer a bit tedious whenever it turns off because I look away.
This also isn't really a con, but the on/off button can be unresponsive at times. It's fitted on weird, so if it isn't the perfect "click" every time, it won't turn on or off. Even though it feels like it clicked properly. Not the biggest issue, once you get the hang of what it takes to turn it on. However, I do know the smaller monitors of this same family have touch activated power buttons.
The base of the monitor doesn't allow for tilt. It says it should, but it's hardly counts as tilt. It isn't a problem on my desk and how I have my computer set up, but if you need the tilt it could pose a potential problem
Other Thoughts: Overall, I am pleased with my purchase and would consider buying another one when I decided to upgrade my setup.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: This is a fast and powerful machine! It runs all of my games on high/ultra high settings. It has plenty of space for all my games, and still has lots of space to spare! I have this HDMI to my monitor and bought a surround sound speaker system that goes great! If you're looking for a great gaming machine without breaking the bank too much, this is a great buy.
Cons: I've been using Windows since Windows98, and Windows 8 is probably the most challenging one so far for me to get used to or to learn. It's different not having the Windows start button on the bottom corner, and a lot of the applications run like they're on a tablet or something like that. It'll definitely take some getting used to if you're used to how XP/Vista/7 ran.
The PC runs a little loud sometimes. It has 4 fans (if I counted correctly) throughout the rig, which is great for keeping it cool when it's under pressure, but it can get loud depending on the game/FPS/etc. It typically runs pretty quiet most of the time, but every now and again you'll be taking off to the Moon.
Other Thoughts: Overall, this is a great machine. It plays all my games great, has plenty of power and space for all my other non-gaming needs. If you are patient with Windows 8 and can see past the occasional loudness of the fans during intense gaming, this is a great purchase for any gamer.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: The keys make a nice click, the backlight can adjust in brightness, and it has a lot of handy function keys.
Cons: The backlight doesn't show the secondary function of some of the keys. For example: it will light up the " ; " but not the " : ". It makes it difficult for some of the function keys when they have special programs already assigned to the keys.
Other Thoughts: Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase. The utility of the keyboard and the nice clicks make me excited to write papers for school!READ FULL REVIEW
