Best bang for your buck!

Crucial MX500 1TB 3D NAND SATA M.2 (2280SS) Internal SSD, up to 560 MB/s - CT1000MX500SSD4
Crucial MX500 1TB 3D NAND SATA M.2 (2280SS) Internal SSD, up to 560 MB/s - CT1000MX500SSD4

Pros: Bought this to fill my secondary m.2 slot so I can dual boot Manjaro. Intel makes a 2TB that is a slightly better value (That is in my primary slot). I didn't feel like I'd need quite as much space on my Linux drive. Really fast.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: Would recommend. Would buy again. Crucial is a name I've known and trusted for decades.

Two Thumbs Down

PNY Optima 2.5" 480GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SSD7SC480GOPT-RB
PNY Optima 2.5" 480GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SSD7SC480GOPT-RB

Pros: Cheap. Big

Cons: I'll add to the pile of dead drives listed here. Mine started about a week ago not showing up in BIOS or booting. Getting more frequent, and I know I'm on borrowed time. Going to try and return it, but for what? Another piece of junk?

Overall Review: Spend an extra 100 and get a real SSD.

Great mid level mic for the price. And the Lunar Gray is wonderful.

Blue Yeti USB Microphone - Lunar Gray Mic Only
Blue Yeti USB Microphone - Lunar Gray Mic Only

Pros: Great sound. Super sexy color (lunar gray) I see a lot of podcasters use these.

Cons: None yet. But believe me when I say if there's any problem, I will come back to edit. This mic replaces a Razer Siren that didn't last 2 years.

Overall Review: Would recommend

Great economy drives!

Silicon Power Ace A55 2.5" 128GB SATA III 3D NAND Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SU128GBSS3A55S25AE

Pros: Cheap Fast I've had one for on me that was still under warranty. Company replaced it fairly easily.

Cons: None

Overall Review: If you aren't sure about switching from mechanical to SSD, try one of these for a low cost demonstration. These are great drives (this review is for a 128 gb, but I have this brand all the way up to a tb.

Caveat Emptor

Asus Transformer Book T100TAF 10.1" 2-in-1 Tablet with Dock, Quad Core Intel Atom Bay Trail Z3735F 1.33 GHz (1.83 GHz Burst), 2 GB Memory, 32 GB Storage, Windows 8.1, Certified Refurbished
Asus Transformer Book T100TAF 10.1" 2-in-1 Tablet with Dock, Quad Core Intel Atom Bay Trail Z3735F 1.33 GHz (1.83 GHz Burst), 2 GB Memory, 32 GB Storage, Windows 8.1, Certified Refurbished

Pros: Bought one of these for my wife as a foray into the Windows world of tablets. Looks great and easy to use.... Personally, having used Android for years, I really liked the Win 8 (and 10) interface of this thing. It was crisper and faster than I expected it to be.

Cons: While this thing was super sexy and seemed too great to be true, we quickly found out that's because it WAS too good to be true. Right out of the box it wanted to upgrade to Win 10, which I did. That's where the problems started. Wireless would randomly shut off, and only come back when it felt like it. After a couple days of trying to puzzle it out, I gave up and factory reset back to Win 8.1. At which point another problem showed up. Upon wake from sleep (which could only be achieved with the power button on the tablet part), the keyboard and mouse would no longer respond. Changed the setting to the device not going to sleep.... ever. It got very tired after that. Battery life took a huge hit. We would manually power off the display, and then it worked. You could wake the device with the keyboard. To me that seemed kinda like if the door locks on your car stopped working, screwing the doors shut as a fix. Emailed tech support at Asus... To get an automated answer 3 days after I RMA'd this thing back to Ca. The automated response didn't include a single thing I hadn't tried.

Overall Review: If you want one of these, I personally would pony up the extra hundred and buy new. However, I never researched if this was a problem with this device, or if I just caught a lemon. For me: I'm done with refurbed anything. I used to have a good opinion of refurbished items... But in the last 3 years I have had zero luck.

Trash disguised as a case

RAIDMAX Seiran ATX-902WB Black Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
RAIDMAX Seiran ATX-902WB Black Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: None. I suppose it would make a great paper weight.

Cons: The very cool concept of each 5.25 bay cover being removed individually from the outside is conceptually awesome, the execution doesn't quite get it there. Any pressure at ALL on ANY of them will result in the one being pushed and the ones above and below it falling into the case. Cable management is a joke, and airflow? Here's a thought: Most of us water cool these days. Hows about a spot for a radiator to mount? There are only 2- 3.5 adapter plates provided, and the tool-less feature doesn't secure drives well at all. I have a couple 40 dollar cases that are all around better than this.

Overall Review: Oh yeah, and as an added bonus? 4 days in, the power button fails. I cobbed in a momentary contact from an Arduino. What am I going to do? Wait for these people to send me another one? And have to do all the work 3 times? Do yourself a favor: if you need a real case, buy what you can afford. OR, just get a 40$ econo box knowing it's going to be somewhat annoying.

Product shipped and arrived quickly. What else is there to say? That's about all the seller has to get right.

Would recommend. Mic is great for the price point. Color is great. Yeti gets it right.
