MSI Radeon R9 390 R9 390 GAMING 8G 8GB 512-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 CrossFireX Support Video Card
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Decent price, loads of memory, fast, plays all my games

Cons: Poor drivers on launch

Other Thoughts: Overall this is a solid card for anyone looking for an upgrade from an older card. It is competitive priced and performance is on par with competing cards. Plays GTAV on high settings @ 1080P at around 60FPS with a few dips hear and there.

Drivers were really terrible upon launch, luckily the issues have appeared to have been ironed out for the most part. I do recommend this card and will definitely be purchasing another in the future for a Crossfire setup.

AMD FX-8350 Black Edition Vishera 8-Core 4.0GHz (4.2GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 125W FD8350FRHKBOX Desktop Processor
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Quick, Inexpensive

Cons: N/A

Other Thoughts: I bought this as an upgrade from an 8120 that I previously purchased off Newegg. So far the CPU has worked flawlessly and breezes through all the applications I have, including my myriad of games. There was a noticeable improvement in my overall computing experience from the previous 8120.

If you want a rock solid chip that doesn't break the bank then this is the chip for you.

ASRock Fatal1ty 990FX Killer AM3+ AMD 990FX 5 x SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Gaming Motherboard
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: Nicely designed, solid construction, well priced

Cons: Won't work..

Other Thoughts: Having difficulties with the board right now. After installing it won't POST. Cleared CMOS, nothing. Have switched out CPU's and memory, still nothing. Only thing left to check is the PSU
