This review is from: Acer G235HAbd 23'' 5ms 1920x1080 WideScreen LCD monitor 300 cd/m2 1000:1
Pros: Vibrant colors, nice menu options, and nice picture.
Cons: Small amount of bleeding at the edges, only noticeable on black screens. Below average horizontal viewing angles.
Other Thoughts: The picture on this monitor is great, all things considered. For the price, it seems to me a great purchase. There is a small "sweet spot", and outside of this you may notice shifting colors. I first noticed this on a website, where the background appeared to have a gradient, and not the solid color I choose for it. Adjusting the horizontal positioning reduced the problem. There is also a small amount of bleeding around the edges on dark screens.
These are minor criticisms, however, as I am very satisfied overall. The stand is good, and the menu allows for calibrating the image to your liking, and has some preset options as well. Buttons are NOT hard to press, as some others have complained. You can't exactly see them, but the front bezel has some dots to indicate where they are. No biggie.
Pros: Performance, stability
Other Thoughts: I have been using this card since 2009. It has been rock solid the whole time. I have used it with a variety of monitors, including multiple monitor setups, and it has been able to run most games at max or very high settings. The newest example I can use is Diablo III, which it runs at max settings (at 1920 x 1080, with a second monitor also running at 1280 x 1024) with ease.
The only downside is the heat. While gaming, it can reach temps of almost 190 degrees F, which seems pretty warm to me!
This review is from: Logitech G110 LED Backlighting Gaming Keyboard
Pros: Easy to type on, backlit keys, Macro/G keys, and media controls.
Cons: Keyboard shows dust very easily.
Other Thoughts: I really enjoy the tactile feedback on this keyboard. It is relatively quiet, and very responsive to my fingers. I have owned other Logitech keyboards in the past that felt "stiff", i.e., some keys required more force to press and would tire my fingers after long bouts of typing. I have no such problems with this board.
The G keys and memory settings are decent, the software to use them works well and is very customizable. I do not use them very extensively though. You can select blue, red, or some combination thereof (purple) for background colors. Mapping each one to a different Macro setting lets you see quickly what you have access to. There is also a button to turn off the keyboard backlights, which I often use during the day, as it is not needed. The light is more like a glow, and is not noticeable with daylight outside. It is more than sufficient to see clearly in the dark.
I do not use the headset/mic function, so cannot comment on that. Basic media controls, but they wo
