This review is from: Noctua NF-F12 PWM 120mm Case Fan
Pros: Insta-5 star review from me. I knew these were high quality products the moment I grabbed the shipment box from my doorstep. They're heavy! I used these fans to replace the stock deathly loud Corsair H80 rad fans. Those things have sounded like vacuum cleaners since day one, to the point of needing to speak loudly to others in the same room. Horrible. I installed two of these bad boys in a push/pull config hoping for the best, and I got it. Much quieter! They aren't silent of course, but I wasn't expecting them to be silent with the amount of air they push. However they are quieter on their max RPM than the Corsair fans were at their lowest speeds. My CPU temps are also about 15 degrees cooler idling AND at load, however I'm not sure if that's because of the fans, or because I was able to give the radiator a good cleaning during the install. Either way, these fans are *exceeding* my expectations with how quiet they are and how much air they're working, and I'm a very happy first-time Noctua customer.
Cons: They aren't the prettiest looking fans on the market, but I guess Noctua wants to stand out.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: This card is an amazing performer. The only games I experience iffy frames in are simulation based games that tax the CPU more, which I could use to update. Simple, texture based games like Battlefield and Far Cry are a breeze for this card.
Cons: A metal strip on the card wasn't glued on very well, and peeled off over time. I had to superglue it back on. I consider EVGA to be a pretty decent brand, so inconsistent build qualities I may just have to chalk up as being bad luck. The price of this card is also high, being EVGA, and I would have liked to have seen it run a bit cooler. My PC has excellent cable management, the CPU is watercooled, and I have a massive 200mm exhaust fan at the top of my case. This card is running at it's stock speeds, and it seems like boost won't even kick in. It reaches it's throttling temperature at stock speeds when stress testing.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: NZXT CB-LED20-RD Sleeved LED Kit - Red, 2 m
Pros: Plenty of LEDs, easy to install, long sleeve.
Cons: Covered in a filthy grime after opening the packaging, the molex connector pins fell apart when plugging it in, and the lights completely failed to turn on.
Other Thoughts: This is strike 3 for NZXT for me. They have lousy shipping, build quality, and customer service in my opinion.READ FULL REVIEW
