Sling does it again!

Slingbox 500 Media Player - Extend 1080 HD anywhere, Ethernet & Built-in WiFi, Mobile Device Compatible, HDMI / component / composite interface w/ Remote
Slingbox 500 Media Player - Extend 1080 HD anywhere, Ethernet & Built-in WiFi, Mobile Device Compatible, HDMI / component / composite interface w/ Remote

Pros: The unit physically looks nice IMO. Many might criticize the design, but I think that people are expected your standard ugly set-top box type of thing. It's also smaller, lighter, and runs cooler than the previous versions. Setting the unit up is also easier than all other models, thanks to the on-screen display. Video quality is excellent. While HDMI won't work for most people (due to HDCP reasons, as Sling has documented everywhere), component is just as good, especially for cable or satellite TV. The higher quality your TV provider is, the better your Slingbox streaming will be. It also supports 1080p60 video, which nothing else seems to do.

Cons: The only con that I can think of is, of course, the HDCP issue. This isn't really Sling's fault, so I'm not taking an egg away because of that, but it's still slightly disappointing.

Overall Review: Many of the issues that people are leaving aren't due to their Slingbox, but their particular setup.

Most Critical Review

Leaves a lot to be desired...

ASUS TF300T-DOCK-BL Tablet Docking Station
ASUS TF300T-DOCK-BL Tablet Docking Station

Pros: • Gives a laptop-like experience for a tablet.

Cons: • Only 1 USB 2.0 port is disappointing. 2 would be optimal for most users, which was the case with the original Transformer. • The hinge has some raised sections that are made out of plastic to keep it lifted up when on a table. Because they aren't rubber, everything is easily able to move around. • Trackpad is a tad bit too small to be really useful. The click button feels cheap. • The keys aren't raised as much as they could be. Makes typing a chore for extremely fast typists.

Overall Review: • While it'd be dumb to get a Transformer without the keyboard dock, ASUS could've done a much better job with this product.

Great card

GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 2070 Super WINDFORCE OC 8G Graphics Card, 3 x WINDFORCE Fans, 8GB 256-Bit GDDR6, GV-N207SWF3OC-8GC Video Card
GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 2070 Super WINDFORCE OC 8G Graphics Card, 3 x WINDFORCE Fans, 8GB 256-Bit GDDR6, GV-N207SWF3OC-8GC Video Card

Pros: - Am able to push the card a fair bit via MSI Afterburner (max core: 2040MHz, max memory: 7650MHz): -- Core Voltage: +100 -- Power Limit: 111 -- Temp. Limit: 85C -- Core Clock: +125 -- Memory Clock: +650 - No RGB! - Three fans

Overall Review: Though I have mine overclocked, average temps during gaming is the upper 70s with an occasional dip into 81 or 82. Otherwise, this is a nice card, especially at MSRP.

Works well on X570

XPG GAMMIX D30 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 3600 (PC4 28800) Desktop Memory Model AX4U360038G17-DB30
XPG GAMMIX D30 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 3600 (PC4 28800) Desktop Memory Model AX4U360038G17-DB30

Pros: - Samsung b-die - Stable timings per DRAM Calculator for Ryzen's "safe" preset (export XMP profile from Thaiphoon Burner first) - Plays well with the 3700X on X570 - Nice on-sale price (at the time) - No RGB - Clean design that can fit in a variety of builds - Heat spreader fits under the Dark Rock Pro 4

Overall Review: Overall, the RAM works, is stable, looks nice, and ultimately works. Great value, especially if purchased on sale.

Good tablet that's butchered by its software

ASUS Transformer Pad 10.1" IPS Tablet TF300T-B1-BL NVIDIA Tegra 3 1.20GHz - 1GB DDR3 - 32GB -Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich)- Blue
ASUS Transformer Pad 10.1" IPS Tablet TF300T-B1-BL NVIDIA Tegra 3 1.20GHz - 1GB DDR3 - 32GB -Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich)- Blue

Pros: • The camera is nice for being from a tablet. • The design is great; the blue back looks very nice when in a lot of light.

Cons: • Android still has a while to go in terms of user experience. The app selection, in terms of tablet-specific apps, is very disappointing. The quality of apps is quite disappointing, too. This is a HUGE problem for people who want to make the switch from iOS/iPad. • The overall stability of apps is quite questionable. Apps tend to be slow, even in performance mode. Games aren't all of what they seem to be online. • Build quality leaves a lot to be desired. The lower-left corner was moving back and forth a bit, which makes everything feel cheap and very fragile. The overall longevity of the tablet seems quite unknown.

Overall Review: • If you're absolutely anti-iPad, I'd still stay away from this particular tablet, unless you want to deal with problematic software problems. It really makes the tablet experience a frustrating one. • Even when paired with the keyboard dock, don't expect this to replace your laptop. The software just doesn't allow for that. • iPad/iOS is leading this market for a reason, and I strongly feel as though that, in terms of tablets, that's really the right direction.

Meh

Antec Kuhler H2O 620 Liquid Cooling System
Antec Kuhler H2O 620 Liquid Cooling System

Pros: - Easy to install - Lightweight

Cons: - Doesn't cool nearly as much as expected.

Overall Review: I bought this because a few other 2600K owners were able to get very nice temperatures (20C~ idle, 40C~ load). My 2600K @ 4.5GHz reaches 35C~ (idle) and 70C~ (load) with a 212+. The 620 did just as good. Save your money and get a Hyper 212+.
