This review is from: ECS H61H2-M2(1.0) LGA 1155 Intel H61 HDMI Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros: Low price, worked for a year.
Cons: Started freezing and having video issues.
Other Thoughts: I don't think I will be buying this brand again, a component should last more than a year with occasional use.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Very good budget card, I got three to crunch seti work units on, and I'm very
pleased with the amount of work they get done in a short time. On a Linux
machine this card takes less than an hour on one type work unit where a 9800GT takes 4 1/2 to 5 hours.
Cons: Not any cons yet for this price. I wish it was a Titan, but I didn't want to pay the price.
Other Thoughts: With 4 compute units it blows away a 9800GT with 14 compute units. I haven't gamed with one yet but I'm pretty sure it would shame my 9800GT machine
on anything I play.
This review is from: ASRock 970 EXTREME3 AM3+ AMD 970 + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
Pros: Lots of features, works on Windows and Linux. Lots of expandibility built into this board and it runs an AM3 965 cpu great with 8 GB ram.
Other Thoughts: This is a revised review, the first negative review was dated 3/8/2013. I could not get Linux to run due to a video card incompatibility issue with the Linux OS.
Once that got resolved I'm very happy with the board and all it's features. I would recommend it highly.
