Pros: I love the size of the monitor. I think it's just right for 1920x1080 for a desktop monitor (I honestly think smaller monitors in the 19-22" range are a bit small for 1920x1080), and the price was definitely right for such a large monitor.
Has exactly what I needed it for and nothing more. I was specifically looking for a monitor that had 2 HDMI inputs, onboard audio processing, and an audio out so I could send HDMI into it from PS3, and then audio out to PC speaker system while also having an HDMI in for the PC as well, and this does just that.
The picture quality is superb in my opinion. I adjusted color settings a little from factory default, but not much.
I also like how the monitor can be in a constant sleep state and it's intelligent enough to know which input to turn on based on whether I power on the PC or turn on the PS3. I basically never have to touch the buttons on the monitor unless both PC and PS3 are on and I need to toggle between the two.
Cons: The onboard speakers are absolutely atrocious. I don't count this as a con because I was never planning to use the onboard speakers anyway, and as mentioned in the pros section, I wanted to have the HDMI in carry sound out through a 3.5mm audio out which this monitor does. It does only carry 2 channel sound out, but that wasn't a big issue for me since I don't have an elaborate surround system (just a woofer and 2 speakers).
I thought the monitor didn't have a tilt capability and I would've taken an egg off, but it apparently does after reading the review here where Samsung says it does have tilt and the manual sure enough says it has a tilt. I haven't had a chance to try it yet, but I just need tilted up a small amount and it would be positioned perfectly and this would honestly be the perfect monitor for my requirements.
Other Thoughts: I was thinking about being a VESA wall mount for the monitor thinking there was no tilt, but it can tilt up to 20 degrees backward.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Comes overclocked, low price, low power consumption (in comparison to 8800GTS or 9800GTX)
Cons: None that I can think of, really.
Other Thoughts: Upgraded just vid card. Kept old components: Corsair 450W PSU, 2GB 800 DDR2 RAM, E6550 Core 2 Duo and get around 10,500 in 3dmark06.READ FULL REVIEW
