This review is from: Sid Meier's Civilization V [Online Game Code]
Cons: The "game code" version locks you into some lame online game site, an forces you to login to play your game, even if you will NEVER play online. Cannot run the game at all without this pointless service.
Game play is almost completely changed with new concepts like city states and paying gold to buy squares adjacent to your city?
I completely disagree with Vamphaery. This feels like a completely new game with little in common with Civ4. It neither deserves the Civilization name or loyalty. I won't buy another release in this lifetime, and feel completely ripped-off by this purchase.
After writing this review, I will be uninstalling and wiping all vestige of it from my system.
After d/ling it and the online game program, I was thinking I'd just buy the boxed version and forget the online service. After playing it, I'm just gonna delete all of it!
Don't waste your money. Enjoy Civ4!
Other Thoughts: Even the "fog of war" is lame. It looks like everywhere but where you are is completely covered by annoying big fluffy clouds! :(READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Arrived in good shape, more than enough capacity for a boot volume.
Cons: Acronis software is worthless if the drive you're trying to clone is a dynamic disk. Had to use Partition Magic to convert it to a basic disk before Acronis would touch it. Acronis does work better than Partition Magic for cloning though, as long as it is among basic disks.
Other Thoughts: Acronis was a major factor in why I chose WDC. Would have been nice if I'd been warned about its complete inability to deal with dynamic disks ... costed me nearly 1/2 of my only day off this week to clone it for that reason. Once Done though, it seems the disk is working as expected.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Cheap as an AP only.
Cons: Not a bridge, despite advertising and package labeling. Just a cheap/junk AP.
Other Thoughts: Not really a bridge, as advertised. Supposedly easy to set-up with WDS, but truly impossible to set-up, even with them sitting adjacent. Tech support is poor, providing only canned answers that barely even touches on the question(s) asked, and wholly a waste of time.READ FULL REVIEW
