This review is from: TRENDnet TK-209K 2-Port USB KVM Switch Kit w/ Audio (Includes 2x KVM Cables)
Pros: Ease of Use, Comes with necessary cables required for operation, Performs exactly as it should, Compact size, Sturdy build.
Other Thoughts: This 2 port KVM (Keyboard, Video, Mouse) device performs exactly as it should.
In the box, you will find all the necessary cables required to clear your desktop clutter by reducing the need for an additional monitor and input devices (mouse, keyboard). The included cables are proprietary so care should be exercised not to lose or damage them.
This device also allows for Audio and Microphone input so you will not have to bother with switching either around, just click a button and you are ready to record or listen to your active computer!
The instructions are straight forward and easy to follow and will have you up and running in no time.
Switching between computers could not be easier, just select your computer by depressing a tactile button on the top of the device and "poof" you are accessing your computer. A green LED lets you know which computer is currently in use.
This particular model, the TK-209K, supports standard RGB input so if you need DVI or other input compatibility, you will need to look elsewhere.
If you are looking for an easy to use, easy to setup, inexpensive solution for using 2 computers with one monitor, keyboard, mouse, set of speakers and microphone, I would recommend this device. In fact, I bought two of them. Just ensure that your computers have the necessary RGB ports required for this model.
Pros: inexpensive, feature rich, solid look and feel, "Play" ready, great feature set at a very affordable price point.
Cons: none so far
Other Thoughts: 3 of these were purchased for my children ages 7, 8 and 10. Our first foray into tablet computing for our children was a disaster due to their inability to properly care for their equipment. We had a lot of money invested in the tablets that they quickly destroyed.
We decided to try again with the Sero 7; largely because of the affordability of the tablet through NewEgg. In fact, we were able to get all three kids a Sero 7 for less than the price of a single unit of some of the other brands.
I had also purchased a Sero 7 for my dad for Fathers day, 2013, and he has reported nothing but positive experiences with the possible exception of the learning curve required by a man in his 70's.
The table performs as it should with a bright, well defined viewing area.
The touch sensitivity is great and the screen is well calibrated.
"On the Go" USB (OTG) is supported so you can use your USB keyboard or mouse and even a flash drive. This is great for expanding the usefulness of this tablet.
Storage can be increased by micro-SDHC. NewEgg has tons of great deals on micro-SDHC cards. Do not invest in any thing over 32GB; this is the maximum supported supported by the expandable memory slot.
Hisense stays on top of updates and new Android releases which is a big plus.
A mini-HDMI port at this price point, are you kidding me? This is awesome!!
GPS reception is somewhat weak so do not try to replace your GPS with this tablet.
My overall impression of this unit is very favorable. I would recommend it to new entrants to tablet computing based on it's ease of use and affordability.
I would recommend it to veteran tablet users because of its affordability and hardware features. With few exceptions you are getting an inexpensive tablet that will stand toe-to-toe with its more expensive rivals.
I would recommend it to parents of young children who don't wish to replace expensive tablets due to the folly of youth.
This review is from: SAMSUNG Plus 32GB microSDHC Class 10 Flash Card Model MB-MPBGC/AM
Pros: Fast, inexpensive
Other Thoughts: This product works exactly as it should with no problems at all. No special knowledge is required to use it making it an ideal choice for any smartphone or tablet user looking to expand their storage capacity. If you use your smartphone to take pictures this micro flash is great.READ FULL REVIEW
