5 out of 5 eggs Great Mouse Pad 05/26/2015

This review is from: 3M Precise Mouse Pad

Pros: This is a great mouse pad.

Cons: None that I have found.

Other Thoughts: This is like all the other MP114 mouse pads. The only difference between them is the pattery. They are a thin pad with a stiff plastic top.

5 out of 5 eggs Great Product, Shouldn't Be Needed 05/08/2015

This review is from: Ubiquiti 8023AF-I Instant PoE Adapter 802.3af. INS-8023AF-I.

Pros: This is a great product. It allows you to get rid of the 24 Volt PoE injectors that are littering your MDF if you have a bunch of Ubiquiti products.

Cons: There is no reason that this product should be required. Ubiquiti should stop designing their equipment to run on 24 Volts and use standard 48 Volt 802.3af PoE.

Other Thoughts: On Ubiquiti's website, they admit that 802.3af delivers "power more efficiently, enabling longer cable runs." So if the standard is more efficient their their custom solution, why don't they just adopt the standard in all their new hardware designes?

TP-LINK TL-WDN4800 Dual Band Wireless N900 PCI Express Adapter, 2.4GHz 450Mbps/5GHz 450Mbps, IEEE 802.1a/b/g/n, WEP/WPA/WPA2

Pros: The current version comes with a low profile bracket. This is based on an Atheros chipset, which is my favorite for wireless purposes. It runs 3x3 in both 2.4GHz and 5GHz.

Cons: None that I have found.

Other Thoughts: I have installed over 100 of these in client computers running Windows 7 and never had a problem with any of them. They are a great wireless adapter. I use them exclusively in my IT consulting business.
