Pros: Power efficiency. No need for picoPSU if you build small computer.
Cons: This is the response to earlier reviewer about ethernet. It is most likely that the ethernet port that doesn't work is Intel under Debian, Ubuntu. This new chipset I217 is only supported by kernel 3.9 or later. So if you compile your own kernel it should detect it.
Alternatively, you can go to Intel website and download the kernel module.
Pros: I bought this to run virtualbox, vagrant, and other software development tools(a lot of kernel compilation and all).
It works like a charm!
Cons: No execuse for "compiling", for now.
Other Thoughts: Another cpu with same 1150 socket but with 6 or 8 cores?READ FULL REVIEW

Pros: Robust, easy to setup. The mb recognizes RAM with XMP and runs @ 1866 speed.
Other Thoughts: Linux users: You need kernel 3.9 or 3.10 to get support for the Gigabit ethernet chip on this motherboard, I217-V chip. Alternatively, you can download the module source (e1000e) from Intel website to compile it for your 3.2 or or 3.5 kernel.
