Pros: Highest HD Tach score I've ever had on these drives. Set two up in RAID 0 and compared scores to another brands SATA (3GB Throughput) 500GB drive and these stomped it.
Cons: Came packaged with brown paper wrapped around it. Was amazed they survived due to the bad packaging.
Other Thoughts: Might buy a few more. NewEgg had it to me fast.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Great performance with latest drivers. Ordered 2 and they both fit on the board and in the case. Love the LEDs that show primary card and green indicators that show correct power connections.
Cons: They run at 70C idle! Installed a utility to adjust the fans to max. With 2 of these running at 100%, it sounds like a shop vac. Other con is price is high. Not many gains from my single 8800GTX I gave to my son.
Other Thoughts: Wish there were affordable water blocks for these.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: EVGA 132-CK-NF79-A1 LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 790i Ultra SLI ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros: Nice looking board. Worked as advertised after manually setting RAM voltages and timings and upgrading to P04 bios.
Cons: Clip on fan for chipset is noisy. Price is high.
Other Thoughts: eVGA tech support took less than 2 minutes to answer calls when I had a problem with enabling Quad SLI (BSOD). They were able to guide me to the fix on MS site.READ FULL REVIEW
