Universal Foldable Snoot Flash Softbox Tube for Canon Nikon Sony Speedlite DC330-NE1
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: It's cheap, but not cheaply made. Pretty universal.

Cons: Focuses the flash beam very tightly - I wish you could flare the end a bit more without getting the gap in the connection.

Other Thoughts: I think I may put sticky velcro strips on my flashes for mounting this to make it hold better.

5 out of 5 eggs Awesome and inexpensive! 06/22/2014

This review is from: ExpoImaging Rogue 3-in-1 Honeycomb Grid

Pros: Great way to create a small focused flash target with your speedlite. Controls light spill.

Cons: Still on a speedlite, so the light source is still small. But, that's what it's designed to do so it's not really a con on the product.

Other Thoughts: Of course you're taking a small light source (speedlite) and making it more focused and small. The light quality ends up being pretty good for what you're doing. Well made, fits most any camera-mount strobe. Nice for putting a gelled spotlight behind a subject on a wall, or for focusing the beam to just light the subjects face over a distance. It's all about light control.

LSI Internal SATA/SAS 9211-8i 6Gb/s PCI-Express 2.0 RAID Controller Card, Kit

5 out of 5 eggs Tons better than my mobo ports 06/05/2014

This review is from: LSI Internal SATA/SAS 9211-8i 6Gb/s PCI-Express 2.0 RAID Controller Card, Kit

Pros: Does what it says. Linux compatible.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I was having serious performance issues using a RaidZ filesystem on my motherboard ports with four drives. This card more than solved the problem. Worked like a charm.
