This review is from: CORSAIR Voyager GS 128GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive Model CMFVYGS3-128GB
Pros: initial praises: good looking
Cons: initial complaints:
cap doesn't snap on securely - it will get lost
Write performance on a USB 2.0 port is ~100mbps which is far less than advertised but that was during file transfer of >350,000 files (totaling 58GB) and not a few massive, contiguous files.
It's fairly wide.
Other Thoughts: I'm really not displeased. I don't purchase any such flash drive for crazy performance so I'm not terribly underwhelmed by the write performanceREAD FULL REVIEW
Pros: SOLID build. HDDs slide right into SATA connectors just as easily and nicely as my HP ProLiant servers. Housing seems like solid construction.
Cons: Manual is a little flaky. "Press Reset Button" after changing jumper mode really means "Press Reset Button while power is on". Could save some people who take things literally a lot of frustration and time.
As nice as the chassis build quality is the 4 screws to open it up do not auto-align to the cover very nicely at all, and feel pretty cheap compared to the casing material.
Other Thoughts: Take my Cons with a grain of salt, folks. I am simply providing immediate first-impressions. Do I think it has value at its price? Absolutely! Am I happy? So far, absolutely.READ FULL REVIEW
