Pros: Very, very beautiful monitor. It does away with the ugly, black plastic bevels for a stylized, edge-less glass. The build quality is fantastic.
I upgraded from a TN-type LED monitor and I can notice a phenomenal difference. This monitor is absolutely gorgeous. The colors and clarity is tremendous.
I'm a heavy PC gamer and was worried about the 5ms response time vs. older, TN-type monitors with a 2ms response time. You can't tell the difference. If this is your only hang-up, forget it. This monitor is fantastic for gaming. It looks beautiful and works wonderfully.
Cons: It is VERY shiny. The high-gloss screen means your colors and images will be razor sharp, but it also means the screen will reflect a lot of light in the environment. This hasn't quite been a negative for me yet, but I can see this being troublesome. You trade clarity for reflection.
Other Thoughts: Get it. One of the highest rated monitors around. IPS display, HDMI/DVI/VGA output AND has an audio out for HDMI throughput!
It even has a magnet base for keeping paper clips, etc. down! Very thoughtful design. Highly recommended for movies and gaming
This review is from: Kingston DataTraveler SE9 16GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive Model DTSE9H/16GBZ
Pros: Very small and durable. The aluminum (?) finish and body is tough and light. The unit itself is very small and works perfectly. The body itself fits into a USB port and is ~1.5" long.
Cons: The speeds aren't terribly fast, but it does the job. I've had other flash drives that were way faster, but I wonder if this device's size has a hand in that. Dunno.
Other Thoughts: Get it. It's an incredibly compact USB that will not fill your pocket when on your keychain.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Diablo III PC / Mac Game
Pros: I love Blizzard and its products. Diablo 3 is well designed. The art style, music, and vibe of the game are tremendous. It's fun to advance your character and develop him/her.
The monsters are widely varied and the boss encounters can be a joy. I like the progression of talents in a particular character. I can't wait to hit the next level.
Cons: However... the game is VERY short. The intent of the developers is to quickly finish it solo (capable to do so) then move onto higher difficulties with friends. While this multiplayer experience can be fun, it gets repetitive with the same content.
The story is NOT deep. It is VERY linear, with no side quests. The areas are designed as such to guide you through... no freedom.
Additionally, the whole game is basically a loot-drop-a-thon. If you like random drops like World of Warcraft, this is for you... the game is primarily built around that concept.
I've had the game for just over a week and have already beaten it. Granted, it does take time, but a week or two is all you need.
Other Thoughts: Disappointed. I hoped for more passion in the story and more freedom to do things with some side quests. I believe they wanted to keep to the original Diablo style, but in this age of Witcher, Mass Effect, etc. players want a lot more depth.
The game is MEANT to be multiplayer. Eventually, you'll need to team up with others to defeat bosses. Think of a hybrid World of Warcraft experience, where you start solo then repeat the game at a higher level with mates in a dungeon run...
