This review is from: LINKSYS LGS108 8-Port Business Desktop Gigabit Switch
Pros: Small size, well constructed, and solid. Does not take up much space and LEDs on the face are easy to see.
Cons: Light weight and with cable tension it can move around on the shelf.
Other Thoughts: I got this on sale last week thru Newegg for $25 and I used it to replace an older 5 port unit. Plugged in power cord, connected network cables, and it was done in less than 5 minutes. Wish I had picked up another for that price.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Installed these under kitchen cabinets to add some indirect light to the work surfaces. The install was a breeze and the light is excellent.
Cons: Bad connection on one of three strips purchased.
Other Thoughts: I contacted the seller who promptly shipped a replacement to me. Very happy with the purchase and the service provided. Thank you!!!READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Looks nice, appears quality construction, semi-modular construction, cables easy to work with. Fan very quiet and power cord included. Third party reviews are positive.
Cons: Did not work out of the box, potential hassle of rebate. The SATA/PATA/video power cables felt very light weight even when compared to the PS that came in the machine.
Other Thoughts: First off, I have been building computers since the mid 90's and have never had a problem with a power supply. Bought this to install in a Dell Core2Quad machine running Win10 test box I use in the garage. I figured for $25 the swap to a new (Gold cert) power supply would be quick and easy. I messed around with the power supply for over an hour only to find out it was bad out of the box. I even swapped in another know good PS and the Dell worked fine. Swapped in the original PS, requested a refund, and boxed it up this morning.
I know that there is always the potential of stuff not working with Dell machines but swapping the other supply tells me this one is bad.
