Plustek eScan A150 Sheet Fed Document Scanner
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

3 out of 5 eggs Very buggy scanner 05/07/2015

This review is from: Plustek eScan A150 Sheet Fed Document Scanner

Pros: It's scans to FTP just fine. Hasn't failed once.

Cons: However, it doesn't always scan to a computer. It randomly won't find the eScan clients installed on our computers. We have to exit the clients on all computers, turn off the scanner, then restart the client software on all computers, then turn the scanner back on. Perhaps a firmware or client software update would fix this?

Other Thoughts: We have it plugged directly into our LAN, not using the wifi.

Noctua NH-U14S 140x150x25 ( NF-A15 PWM) SSO2-Bearing ( Self-stabilising oil-presure bearing ) CPU Cooler
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: **ring ring*** Hello? Yeah, this is your CPU calling. Can you turn up the heat in here? I'm freezing!

I haven't seen my Core i7-5820K get above 97 F with this cooler. It's very quite as well. You could probably get by with removing the cooling fan. It works that good.

Cons: None!

Other Thoughts: Warning: This thing is a GODZILLA BEAST SIZED HEAT SINK! I had to leave the side off my tower because it wouldn't close.

Installed this on the ASRock Fatal1ty X99M Killer LGA 2011-v3 Intel X99
