Nice card... NO BATTERY BACKUP SUPPORT

3Ware 9650SE-2LP-SGL, Half-Length, Low Profile, Internal SATA II Hardware RAID Controller Cardm, PCI Express x1, 2 port w/ 3Gb/sec, RAID 0, 1, JBOD and Single Disk- Single
3Ware 9650SE-2LP-SGL, Half-Length, Low Profile, Internal SATA II Hardware RAID Controller Cardm, PCI Express x1, 2 port w/ 3Gb/sec, RAID 0, 1, JBOD and Single Disk- Single

Pros: I purchased this card because I've had success with previous models of 3ware cards. It works with windows 7 x64 and x32.

Cons: This card DOES NOT support a battery backup option, even though Newegg says it does.

Overall Review: I've contacted Newegg support to notify them I spoke with a 3ware technician, and he stated that the card does not support a battery backup card. Hopefully they'll remove the incorrect information. This card is a very good card though if you are looking for something better than a soft raid. I've had no problems with it.

Most Critical Review

Not a very good IP camera, but it could be!

TOSHIBA IK-WR12A 1600x1200 MAX Resolution RJ45 IP Network Megapixel Dome with Extreme Low Light Capabilities
TOSHIBA IK-WR12A 1600x1200 MAX Resolution RJ45 IP Network Megapixel Dome with Extreme Low Light Capabilities

Pros: Okay overall image quality... in the daylight. Large resolution images.

Cons: The most awful GUI setup experience you'll ever encounter. Took hours to try to get motion detection to work, and it's still very buggy. VERY unfriendly user interface. You have to enable motion detection, then setup a profile for motion detection, then setup an event setting, then setup the server setting, the setup the media setting, then setup the trigger event setting, then you only have 20 seconds of recording or 5 meg per video posibille per detected motion event. I've got 5 TB of recording storage. I'd like to record as much as I'd like, thank you. A measly 20 seconds of recording is worthless. I'm looking forward to a LOT of changes in the next firmware upgrade. 99% of the problems I'm encountering can be fixed. I would NOT purchase another one of these with these bugs. Also, when the IR LED's are turned on, there's a horrible reflection that is created in the plastic dome, which makes any images being recorded almost worthless. You can't see anything when the IR is enabled

Overall Review: Think twice before purchasing this camera. It's not that great in the dark. If you took the dome off, it would be much better, but then you loose your weather proofing. NOT worth the almost $700 for a measly 2 megapixel IP camera. It should be more like 8 MP. My $150 cell phone has a 8MP camera. Very disappointed Toshiba!

Very buggy scanner

Plustek eScan A150 Sheet Fed Document Scanner
Plustek eScan A150 Sheet Fed Document Scanner

Pros: It's scans to FTP just fine. Hasn't failed once.

Cons: However, it doesn't always scan to a computer. It randomly won't find the eScan clients installed on our computers. We have to exit the clients on all computers, turn off the scanner, then restart the client software on all computers, then turn the scanner back on. Perhaps a firmware or client software update would fix this?

Overall Review: We have it plugged directly into our LAN, not using the wifi.

BURRRR!

Noctua NH-U14S, Premium CPU Cooler with NF-A15 140mm Fan (Brown)
Noctua NH-U14S, Premium CPU Cooler with NF-A15 140mm Fan (Brown)

Pros: **ring ring*** Hello? Yeah, this is your CPU calling. Can you turn up the heat in here? I'm freezing! I haven't seen my Core i7-5820K get above 97 F with this cooler. It's very quite as well. You could probably get by with removing the cooling fan. It works that good.

Cons: None!

Overall Review: Warning: This thing is a GODZILLA BEAST SIZED HEAT SINK! I had to leave the side off my tower because it wouldn't close. Installed this on the ASRock Fatal1ty X99M Killer LGA 2011-v3 Intel X99

Best motherboard I've ever owned!

ASRock ASRock Fatal1ty Gaming Fatal1ty X99M Killer LGA 2011-v3 Intel X99 USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Awesome bios, amazing power, built in M.2 slot... it's a fragging rock star!

Cons: None!

Overall Review: You won't be disappointed with this motherboard!

Not as fast as I thought it would be

SAMSUNG XP941 MZHPU512HCGL-00004(0) M.2 2280 512GB PCI-Express 2.0 x4 MLC Solid State Drive
SAMSUNG XP941 MZHPU512HCGL-00004(0) M.2 2280 512GB PCI-Express 2.0 x4 MLC Solid State Drive

Pros: Faster than my old 4 drive RAID-5 setup.

Cons: Don't get me wrong, it's a lot faster than my old 4 drive RAID-5 setup, but it's not "BLAZING FAST", at least in my computer. Not worth the money in my opinion. I would have given it 4 eggs, but the price vs. performance isn't there. I could have installed 2 - 512 GB Samsung SSD's in RAID-0 and it would have been a LOT faster than this thing.

Overall Review: I have this installed in the ASRock Fatal1ty X99M Killer LGA 2011-v3 Intel X99 motherboard with an Intel Core i7-5820K Haswell-E 6-Core CPU.
