Pros: I upgraded from an E6400 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo to this processor and it has been great so far. I've coupled this with the MSI-G45 Gaming Series motherboard and it has ran flawlessly. I brought over my GTX 465 video card from the old build until I can get another video card but so far all of the games I've played have ran very well (Bioshock Infinite, Battlefield 3, Grid, DayZ). I was quite nervous about using the stock heat sink/fan that came with the processor after reading so much about how it stinks, but honestly it is doing just fine. It isn't loud at all and my idle temps hover around 28 degrees celsius and I've not seen it above 55 celsius yet. I'm going to run on the stock cooler until I find a good reason to buy something else.
Cons: The heat sink already had pre-applied thermal compound. This isn't really a con; actually, that's a good thing if you do not already have some Arctic Silver to throw on there. But I had to wipe it off and put my own stuff on there. This is more of a personal inconvenience than a con against the processor but that's the best I could do to fill in this section because this thing is awesome. Oveclocking the processor may be a different monster but with stock speeds it does the job.
Other Thoughts: If you are on the fence of buying another HSF I'd say go with the stock cooling and see how that does for you. It does just fine on my rig. I'm glad I was able to save that extra 30-40 dollars for now. It's always something that can be upgraded if needed.
Intel Core i5 5670k (running stock speeds for now)
MSI-G45 M87 Gaming Series motherboard
GeForce GTX 465
8 GB G.Skill RAM (older PC10666, working fine)
Pros: It was pretty easy to swap out my existing 80GB hard drive in my PS3 for this one. Now I have more space than I'll probably ever need.
Other Thoughts: If you are thinking about upgrading your PS3 hard drive this is the way to go.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: The price for this case/power supply combo is great. The case itself looks fine and the cables labeled well and front panel USB and audio jacks are always a plus.
Cons: The power supply didn't work. I tried it in 2 different machines and it never came on. I contacted Newegg to see if I could just return the power supply but they needed the case as well to do an RMA (which I can understand). I'll go through Rosewill to see if they will help me with the power supply issue.
Also, the case is pretty small inside. Any PCI cards or crazy heatsink/fan combos may have a hard time fitting in this case.
Other Thoughts: Since shipping was free and the case isn't bad I'm not too upset that the power supply didn't work since I bought it for the case anyway, but it's still annoying. Hopefully Rosewill will be able to help me out with this issue, otherwise I'll have to stay away from their products.READ FULL REVIEW
