Pros: I bought this monitor from Newegg's sister sight in 02/11 and had my fingers crossed there would be no dead pixels--as that is the one pressure point above all others that gets me upset. It was perfect. Then I started to hear people say they had issues with dead screens at 2 year mark. Well, at the time of this review this monitor is still perfect. Our power flickers a lot due to being so rural, but no problems with the monitor. I play all the COD and BF I can find time for so the monitor is not idle much. I would buy this monitor again if I needed to, but I don't.
Cons: None. Mine has been outstanding.
Other Thoughts: I want a 28" next because this monitor spoiled me.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: The F5 BIOS on this board is a hoot. It's like mission control center-lol. Other than that it has great audio, top notch construction with 100% solid capacitors (long life) and first rate circuit board (no flimsy epoxy-paper pressing). I was going to buy an audio card for my Foxconn H87MX-D (which is a great budget board) but rather than buy the Asus audio card I bought this Gigabyte motherboard with the Realtek AC887. Saved $20. Look up the specs! Running an i5-4570 with Adata 2x8 DDR3 and it is rock solid and fast.
Cons: Nothing negative to report.
Other Thoughts: I like to try the chipsets out, memory, CPU combinations to see for myself how they perform with my favorite games. BF, COD, and everything Steam puts on sale. Gigabyte has a surprise in this board. I'm glad I bought it. And if you are new to Newegg and live on the East Coast--it shipped from TN and was at the door here in Maryland in two days.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Fast. 9-9-9-24 with headroom. Gigabyte H81M-DS2V accepts these just fine. They run cool.
Cons: There are no cons. these two sticks in the H81M-DS2V are fast. Stable. What else is needed?
Other Thoughts: I can appreciate people who get ram and get a bad stick. It's happened to me with Kingston and Crucial. But that's when customer service makes or breaks your mood. I have bought Adata flash and Adata thumb drives and this is my third Adata DDR3 purchase. No issues to report. I think my first purchase from Adata was in 2007. I paid the regular price and I'm happy. They are worth it when you consider the memory will last years and years. The awesome waranty makes it that much better.READ FULL REVIEW
