Pros: Good speed, and relatively quite, when it was working
Cons: The fan has all but gone and not I cannot get service without paying the Canadian RMA company $45, plus the cost of shipping my card to them. This is the last time I purchase a product under the Sapphire label. Other companies have dealt with their poor quality products far better than this.
Other Thoughts: I advise you to stay away from Sapphire Technologies if you care about your warranty.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: TP-LINK TL-SC3171G RJ45 Wireless Day/Night Surveillance Camera
Pros: Initial setup was fairly easy.
Cons: 1. My needs required the ability to use this as an IP camera with other software. This camera appears to only work with its own proprietary software making it very difficult to integrate into a surveillance system.
2. After flashing the firmware to the latest version, the camera was bricked. TP-Link Tech support walked me through the obvious solutions and then suggested I get in touch with Newegg for RMA. Sadly TP-Link Tech support are useless.
Other Thoughts: If I wanted to hook up to a simple network and watch my baby crawl around on the floor while I'm neglecting her, then this is a good setup. However for those that are looking for a solid solution in an IP camera, this is to be avoided. Useless proprietary software renders this camera irrelevant in todays market. better and cheaper units out there that can do what this one does.
Newegg, as always, was fantastic with how they handled the RMA issue. It is obviously not their fault, but they support the customer all the way! Cheers Newegg!!
This review is from: Microsoft Wireless Laser Desktop 5000
Pros: Nice keyboard. does what a keyboard does. That is the only reason this product received 2 eggs from me.
Cons: The mouse failed to sync, out of the box. New batteries didn't help. Microsoft gave me the run around spending nearly half a day on the phone. It was my fault for not spending the money to return it to newegg.ca. Further, it should be noted that these are discontinued by Microsoft having been manufactured in March 2008.
Other Thoughts: After the half day on the phone, I was told MS was sending me a replacement for my my keyboard and mouse at no charge. The new version is bluetrac versus the laser I have. Free upgrade isn't so bad. And they don't take the defective hardware back so I guess I get a free keyboard out of the deal.READ FULL REVIEW
