Pros: Looks good, stays cool
Cons: This card does not work. Mine keeps crashing my system and crashing my games. I play Battlefield 4 and before I got this card, I had no issues. Then after this card I spent weeks trying to figure out why my game and computer kept crashing. I thought it was related to the game bugs, but once I finally removed this card from my system and replaced it with a different brand card, I never got a crash in my game or on my computer again. Unfortunately, I can't return to Newegg because it's over 30 days, so I have to RMA the card to Gigabyte. I sure hope the 2nd one I get (assuming they replace it) will be better.
If I could, I would get my money back and go with another brand. Don't buy this card if you can help it! You may have nothing but headaches. Just search Google for problems with this card - there is a thread at the nVidia forums where a bunch of users are having problems with this model. Artifacting, crashes, etc.
STAY AWAY and with me luck with my REPLACEMENT!
Pros: Easy to Install
Performs even better than I expected
Supports Shadow Play
Other Thoughts: I bought this card to replace my two existing Radeon 6970 cards that I was running in Crossfire. I presumed that this card would perform about equally with my existing Crossfire setup, but I was wrong. I play iRacing.com and a lot of Battlefield 4. When playing BF4, I like to have the "Battlescreen" up on a second monitor while I play on my primary monitor. With the radeon cards, this would cause performance issues and some stuttering, but with this card, it is as smooth as silk. I can easily get playable framerates in BF4 while using the Battlescreen. The card is also practically silent, and stays relatively cool. I also love the Shadowplay feature for recording my sessions. Works great, and is easy to use, and best of all, it seems to have little to no affect on the performance of the game.
Overall, I'm extremely pleased I went with this card, and I only regret that I didn't do it sooner.
This review is from: Logitech G5 2-Tone 6 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Laser 2000 dpi Mouse
Other Thoughts: I have been a trackball user for years, especially in first person shooters, so it was a strecth for me to go back to using a mouse.
I wanted to make sure I got the best mouse I could for my games. I love this mouse because a) it's comfortable in my hand, and b) it has on-the-fly sensitivity adjustment. I love having the sensitivity cranked up when running around and selecting weapons from the Counter-Strike:Source menu, then turning it down when I'm sniping.
Only gripe - I wish it were cordless, and I wish it had another button or 2. I still recommend it though to anyone wanting a great gaming mouse.
I read about the G7 (cordless version of this mouse) but decided against it because too many people didn't like the smoothness of the finish. The finish on this G5 is the best I've felt - it is slightly textured and feels great to the touch! Almost like a rubber grip, but I don't think it's rubber, so it doesn't get annoyingly sweaty. I wish the wheel button was a little easier to press, but I think I just need to get used to that.
I've been using this mouse now for a couple of weeks and love it.
Newegg of course was amazingly fast with shipping and have had no problems! I love NewEgg, I just wish they didn't have that 15% re-stocking fee for returned items - although I will not be returning this mouse!
