Pros: Ridiculously easy to set up. I was up and running in less than 5 mins. The router UI is intuitive enough, but all the default settings are perfect for a casual user. just plug in and forget its there. the Wireless range is ridiculous. I live in a 1700 sq.ft house, and both 2.4 and 5 GHz bands have excellent signals throughout the house, even in the backyard.
Cons: Not a big fan of the way it sits upright, but its a silly design preference.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Pioneer VSX-1023-K 7.1-Channel 4K Ready AV Receiver
Pros: Easy setup
Cons: had it for about 5 months, and now the included remote trips out. wont change the volume, wont change the set presets for auto/direct surround options etc. none of the buttons on the actual unit work, except for the volume control knob.
The tech support/customer service is a joke. no one answers after you hold for 1+ hour.
Other Thoughts: had high hopes from pioneer, but wont buy a single product from them again.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Logitech Z506 75 watts 5.1 Surround Sound Speakers
Pros: Amazingly simple to set up. all ports are color coded, making it possible for even my wife to mess with it. hooked up to a 60' Vizio HDTV, all I needed to buy was a RCA cable, $6. For those who say this does not have true 5.1, I dont know if they are right or wrong. all of my 5 channels produce appropriate sound. I am not an audiophile by any means, but then again, these are $60. Cant go wrong. Perfect for apartment setting.
Cons: The rear speaker's wire are a little shorter to my liking, but wasn't that big of a deal.READ FULL REVIEW
