This review is from: Beats Ekocycle Studio Over-Ear Headphones
Pros: The headphones arrived well packed and in original manufacturer packaging. They are a combination of Coke and Dr. Dre Eco products and I think discontinued. The Eco part only relates to the product packing and the ear cups are of some eco product. The overall appearance is nice and they sound as advertised. I find them comfortable, while the over the ear does make them quite with the noise cancelling the tradeoff is that they are a bit hot to wear for extended periods. I got them at a great price as compared to when the HPs were released, about 1/2 the cost. There is a "on" light as a prompt to turn the power switch off when they are not in use.
Cons: May be a bit hot to wear for long periods, you do have to maintain batteries and remember to turn them off or you will be buying more batteries. They do not work without the batteries and power switch turned on if you were wondering.
Other Thoughts: I would recommend them. They are quite, the bass is good and these are a nice looing pair of headphones. If you can get them below $130 seems to be a good deal.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: AFT PRO-57U USB 3.0 5.25" Bay, CompactFlash/ SDHC/ SDXC/ microSD/ microSDXC/ miniSD/ miniSDHC/ MultiMediaCard/ Memory Stick/ xD-Picture Card. All-in-one Internal Media Card Reader
Pros: Device is well built and is fast. It was easy to install. I have purchased at least 3 different brands of these readers over the last 11 years. This is the best built of the group. If you purchase and install you must also download the newest driver from the their website. www.atechflash.com
Atech Flash Technology, Inc.
Cons: I had a problem with the device connecting and disconnecting every few minutes. I tried all the solutions I knew and researched online. Uninstalled and reinstalled but nothing worked. I finally just stopped the device in device manager (windows 7 pro) and was about to replace it when I saw a review here which recommended contacting customer service at Atech. Best customer service I have received on line, I got a response within one hour and you can try this if you are having the connect/disconnect problem that I was having. From the tech at Atech:
"Can you try the new firmware (0575) from the link below. After you have downloaded and un-zipped the file into a folder, please double-click on the “FWUpgradetool.exe” in the same folder to start the FW update process. Also, please try to disable the "USB selective suspend setting" under the Advanced settings of Power Options."
Hope this helps.
Other Thoughts: I did not take any stars off for the issue because of the quick help from the Atech rep. So far the problem of the disconnect and reconnect issue is gone, and good riddance too!READ FULL REVIEW
