Pros: Fast drives. Working well for my needs at this time.....but have fingers crossed due to past experience.
Cons: Ordered two..one DOA. RMA on DOA which also came in DOA. Second of original two failed after 2 days. RMA on two drives and finially got two that are working, but holding my breath. Poor on line support from WD. Questions NOT answered, "walked around", or totally unrelated answer given. Only 3 eggs given because of all the hassels and delays in getting my build running. (see original review of 9-6-2010)
Other Thoughts: Ended up having to spend an additional $20.80 for shipping of RMAs. WD did offer to provide prepaid shipping label for second RMA, however did not tell me how to get it or provide a link to it. Sent THREE emails asking specifically how to obtain the label. Got responses, but none answered my question. Gave up and paid for the shipping. Did an on-line survey WD sent. Two days later, received email providing me with link to prepaid shipping label (two days after I already shipped).READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Bought two for new build. Each detected immediately and no problems with usage. Used for installation of windows 7 without problems. Had a lite-0n in other computer and worked well, but these samsungs seem to be more sturdy and built with extra stregth (i.e. tray). Have run several different makes of CD's and DVD's in each (read and write). Fast and no problems at all. Plug and play was great. Would reccomend to anyone looking for a reliable and sturdy CD/DVD writer/burner. Very quiet!!
Cons: Seems a little slower reading dics compared to my previous lite-on.....but will take stability and functional operation over read speed any day.
Other Thoughts: Haven't had a chance to use the lightscribe on these burners yet, as my Roxio 9 isn't compatible with Window's 7. (that sucks!).READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Cooler Master Sleeve Bearing 80mm Silent Fan for Computer Cases and CPU Coolers
Pros: Small, effective, and installed easily. No vibration or noise noticeable. Good airflow. Wire length good. Fits the CM 690 II advance case perfectly on right side, as this side requires an 80X80X15mm fan. (most other 80mm fans are 80X80X25, which will not fit). Sturdy and slim. Doing it's job.....what more can be said?
Cons: Hard to find.
Other Thoughts: Had to wait over a month for newegg to get a resupply of these fans....but was worth it, and not neweggs fault. They notified me instantly upon receiving a shipment, using their auto notify system. Thanks newegg. Looked at several other makes in the 80X80X15 size...but all showed a much higher noise level. Cooler Master got it right with this small fan!READ FULL REVIEW
