This review is from: LOGISYS Computer CF120RD 120mm Red LED Case Cooling Fan
Pros: I'm building a custom rig for a driving sim, so I'm trying to put as much bling into the thing as possible. And these fans definitely deliver on that end! I got three of these bad boys mounted in the case, and the obnoxiously bright red LEDs give the corner of the room I have the rig sitting a totally awesome ominous red glow.
As far as accomplishing it's main function, that is being a fan, it certainly gets the job done in that area as well. Some folks complain that they're loud. I guess thats true. Doesn't bother me though.
Cons: None. It's a fan and does what a fan is supposed to do. Bright red LEDs are bright, though. But that's why I got these fans, so it's not a con in my book. However, somebody looking for something less eye squint inducing might want to consider another model.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Nice air flow. Does what a fan is supposed to do.
Cons: I got it for the bling factor, and for this these fans aren't very good. I got the red LED version, and it's just not very bright at all.
Also, when plugged into the fan headers on the motherboard, they flicker. That could be a problem with the motherboard though. When plugged into the power supply using the included 3-pin-to-molex adapter, the light is steady.
This review is from: SYBA SY-SATA2CF CF to SATA Adapter
Cons: I hate talking bad about something, but this thing is really a flimsy piece of junk. The SATA connector is way too easy to break off, which is what happened with me. I didn't even get a chance to fire it up and see if it actually functions. I guess I should've tried taping down the connector the moment I noticed how weakly it was attached to the PCB. But really, I shouldn't even have to do that. Syba needs to rethink the design on this one.
Spend a little extra for the other CF-to-SATA adapters available from NewEgg. Or just be aware that the SATA connector on this thing is EXTREMELY weak and will easily come off.
