This review is from: Mad Catz R.A.T.7 Gaming Mouse for PC and Mac - Gloss Black
Pros: Very customizable. Feels sturdy. Looks great. Lots of features.
Cons: Within a month of owning the mouse, the laser became unreliable. Sometimes, the cursor would just shake when the mouse is moved. Other times, the cursor would move along only a single axis. At first, simply reconnecting the mouse would fix the problem, but it's gotten progressively worse over time, and now, it's simply not usable. It's not a cleaning issue.
Other Thoughts: I bought this mouse because it was on Maximum PC's Best of the Best for years, and I've agreed with their peripheral ratings in the past. To pay nearly $100 for a mouse of this quality and have it be anything less than completely reliable is unacceptable.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: The adapter connects quickly and gets good reception provided you bypass the included, superfluous connection utility. Install the drivers manually using the Windows Device Manager, and you'll be fine.
Cons: The card will not mount properly in my Apex DM-318. The bracket is about 1/2 cm too high relative to the back of the case.
Also, despite being N-compatible, I was not able to connect to my Netgear WNDR3700's N network, instead having to resort to its legacy G network. I'm not sure why this is, but I haven't had similar connection issues with other wireless adapters.
Other Thoughts: The bracket issue is most frustrating. This is one of the few low-profile PCI adapters available, and it's understandably a bit more expensive than standard PCI adapters.READ FULL REVIEW
