This review is from: Rosewill RTCA-MLT-D105L2 Replacement Toner for Samsung MLT-D105L Black
Pros: Great Price
Cons: Lower yield than OEM Cartridge
Other Thoughts: I bought this Rosewill D105L toner cartridge in October of 2011 for my Samsung ML2525W printer. I was apprehensive at first because it is an off-brand and I had only bought OEM cartridges since the printer was new in March of 2011. But the price was about 35 less than the OEM cartridge.
I found that, for the price, the Rosewill performed up to expectations. I was averaging about 1,800 pages (mostly full pages of text) from the OEM toner cartridges and according to the ML2525W counter, this cartridge yielded 1,328 pages. This comes out to 4.6 cents a page for the OEM cartridge versus 3.7 cents per page (shipped) for the Rosewill.
Seeing as how OEM promises 2500 pages from their toner cartridges and actual yield is only around 1800 (for me), we can't hold it against Rosewill for falling short too.
PS: I had to remove and give the cartridge a shake or two at around 1k pages to get extra yield.
This review is from: PNY 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Desktop Memory Model MD1024SD2-667
Pros: Came in the sealed retail PNY plastic packaging which was well reinforced and well packed to ensure no flexing during shipment. Worked right out of the package. No problems with installation. I was upgrading an aging Dell system that was lagging noticeably after installing Ubuntu 10.10. When I had Windows XP installed, I noticed the same performance issues. I went from 2x256MB (512MB) to 1.5GB total and it made a world of difference.
Cons: None so far.
Other Thoughts: I will probably be purchasing additional sticks to fill out the system to maximum memory since this module is a great value for the brand, size and performance.READ FULL REVIEW
