This review is from: Asus Transformer Book T100 10.1" 2-in-1 Tablet with Dock, Quad Core Intel Atom Bay Trail Z3775F 1.46Ghz (2.39Ghz Burst), 2GB Memory, 32GB Storage, Windows 8.1, Certified Refurbished
Pros: Good performance with Microsoft Office products, so long as you don’t have a monster Excel file, very sharp screen, keyboard is good and has a USB 3 port on it, streaming video perfectly.
Cons: The Battery does not last long when in sleep mode and charging was not working at all, then I tested the Asus charging adapter and found it was not working at all (plugged into power on the wall and got 0 (zero) voltage from it. Went out and purchased an adapter with the correct power requirement (5V 2.4 amps) to get it to charge) Still the windows sleep mode takes too much power from the battery, rather then use sleep mode I just turn off the little tablet/pc.
Other Thoughts: In-spite of the power issues this little unit does a very good job both as a tablet and a little PC. I was able to upgrade it to Windows 10 with little issues (you will have to download the new driver for the mouse pad and upgrade your BIOS) everything is running perfectly in Windows 10 and streaming is still working well.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Asus Transformer Book T100TAF 10.1" 2-in-1 Tablet with Dock, Quad Core Intel Atom Bay Trail Z3735F 1.33GHz (1.83GHz Burst), 2GB Memory, 32GB Storage, Windows 8.1, Certified Refurbished
Pros: Small form factor with lots of capability keyboard feels good for long-term use, 2Gig of RAM though 4 would be better, screen is sharp and bright, excellent really. This tablet laptop cross-over is great but keep in mind it is a tablet, you can increase storage capacity with an SD card up to 64Gb.
Cons: The Intel Atom processor is not all that great, you will see some slow downs when working on larger files but you'll have a mind numbing experience if you have large files with large graphics for say when your doing a presentation. It will run fine but use a normal laptop then copy it to this tab.
Other Thoughts: This little guy can do a lot just remember that it is a tablet first with an attachable keyboard that has one USB 2 port. It would be an even greater keyboard with USB 3 or better that way transferring files would move faster. Still this little tablet/laptop does get the job done when not touching it's limits.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: This really is a great tablet that you can use as an extremely light laptop however it IS a tablet. The small 32gb HD is too small for large files such as spread sheets, power point presentations. Still you can increase your memory capacity with a 64 Gb SD card and use it to store larger files.
Cons: The Intel atom CPU is not the best processors out there but it does get the job done ... slowly. the added keyboard would benefit with another USB port only make it a USB 3 so file transfer can go quicker, that would be a plus.
Other Thoughts: All in all the Asus T100TAM has a great form factor making it easy to carry and use in small or large areas and the screen is very good and easy on the eyes. Just remember that this is a tablet and while you can add to the HD size by using an SD card/module the SD will always be a little slower the a HD.READ FULL REVIEW
