Pros: For the price I impressed. Good value. Boots with Roger's logo. I'd prefer a plain old Samsung logo but no harm. I run it on Fido in Canada so not the greatest test because it work even if it was still locked.
Verified unlocked by entering code: *#7465625#
The response indicates it is unlocked - at least based on the info I found floating around on the net to confirm:
Network Lock OFF
Network Subset Lock OFF
SP Lock OFF
CP Lock OFF
Cons: 1) No ICS upgrade available yet from Samsung. Although it appears one will be forthcoming eventually.
2) Has some Roger's apps installed that I really don't want. Can't seem to find a way to remove them.
Pros: Mine came with Android 2.3.6 installed (aka gingerbread). No need to spend time upgrading.
Also the description says 3.5 inch screen in one place and 5.-0 screen in another place. It's a 3.5 inch screen.
I only expect to use this for gmail and calendar access. I have no reason to expect it to have any trouble with that.
I was quickly impressed with the maps app.
For the price I pleased.
Cons: Haven't used it long enough to really tell. The case doesn't appear super durable, back cover to be specific... but it's not a high end phone so I didn't expect it to be. Comes with a spare white back cover if it is ever a problem.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Working fine as HTPC with Windows MC and tuner card connect to the TV via HDMI. Low power. System draws 30 watts with 8 GB ram and Seagate green drive (that was while running Seagates Seatool drive test). Windows MC runs fine on the E-350.
Cons: Button on case used to depress the hidden DVD drive eject button does work for me. I had to slide the DVD drive back and I reach in with a pointed object to press the eject button. Not a big issue, it can be ejected via software.
The power supply fan is on the noisy side.
I snapped one of the front bezel clips. Removal instructions could be clearer. Not a biggy. It went back on fine nonetheless.
Other Thoughts: For the price I'm very impressed.READ FULL REVIEW
