This review is from: Synology DS712+ Diskless System Network Storage
Pros: I have used all the major manufacture's NAS, D link, Buffalo, Seagate, Western Digital etc.
For ease of use, and the VERY simple interface for EU. Quick set up etc. A lot of available apps including AV suite for the NAS box (based on Clam AV) These will be a great fit for home use or small biz. There are other cheaper units but honestly there is a reason why these units have such a great rating you will not be disappointed.
Cons: A little more than some but WELL worth it.
Other Thoughts: For the most part I am done trying different companies and will be sticking with this company!!!!!READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: BUFFALO AirStation HighPower N300 Wireless Router - WHR-HP-G300N
Pros: The options in the web interface are endless, great strength. Easy set up and since it was set up I have never had to re-set or un-plug it.
There is not enough room in here to list everything. The price is about 20 dollars less than what I paid and I have no regrets all. I know have to get another one for someone else for there home network. These beat all the other BIG buy companies for less money, better reliability and more options.
Cons: None at all
Other Thoughts: Don't waste your time on other routers. You will not be let down.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: VIPRE Antivirus 1-User
Pros: I have personally used and set all versions of Vipre from a signal lic to there enterprise version. There is nothing better on detection rates and absolutely the best on using the least amount of resources. I use it on all my own PC's and installed it on almost of all my commercial clients. By far this is the best antivirus / firewall software.
Cons: No Cons- there is nothing better. Not Norton, Not McAfee, etc.
Other Thoughts: When you install it (premium version and above) pick the learning mode (for firewall) and you will have to train the firewall so be claim and read the boxes that pop up. Once the firewall is trained IT WILL not bug you until you install a new program or something is trying to go out the firewall. So when you look at the box it will say something like "program/yahoo/etc" wants your permission just pick "allow" and put a check in the box "remember my choice". Trust me i have been in the IT field for almost 15 years and i have deployed 1000"s of PC's. Get rid of the your old bloated / old technology antivirus software. It is a lot cheaper and is 150% better than any other product. Also the tech support is by far the best, friendly and very helpful.READ FULL REVIEW
