Most Favorable Review

this monitor is just super!

BenQ 24" WUXGA LCD Monitor 5ms, 2ms(GTG) 1920 x 1200 D-Sub, DVI, HDMI G2400WD
BenQ 24" WUXGA LCD Monitor 5ms, 2ms(GTG) 1920 x 1200 D-Sub, DVI, HDMI G2400WD

Pros: hmm... make that super-duper. Plugs n plays just like it's supposed to. 24" screen is very satisfying, especially next to my old 19" standard LCD... dual monitors rock. Color is great especially next to my old monitor. Not too bright, great response time (no ghosting gaming in native res), pretty good contrast. I also love the simple, non-glossy bezel... a very clean simple look.

Cons: If you are prone to bumping your desk the screen will wobble back and forth (my desk is kinda wobbly too so it transfers the bumps); this isn't a deal breaker by any means, though. I'm not afraid it's going to tip or anything, in fact, it's just the opposite because the rubber feet make it stick to my desk like it's attached! OSD buttons are never "fun" to use, but these are discreetly labeled and I had them figured out by touch in under a minute.

Overall Review: I am very, very happy with this monitor. I know people seem to have something against TN panels... but why? Screen realestate is 75+% of the monitor battle... response time and color probably make up a most of the remainder. the viewing angles are more than ok unless you don't sit anywhere near the front of your monitor. if you have ATI catalyst it makes it easy to create different profiles for changing resolutions/monitor setup (1080p res, widescreen gaming res, disabling one of the monitors, etc.) that you can change in one click out of the system tray!

Nice case...

Mac Desktop PC
Mac Desktop PC

Pros: OSX, good looking case. But seriously, Apple, how about a refresh?! For this price you could be giving your loyal customers a whole lot more computer; honestly, I'm pretty sure buying a pre-assembled machine on the Egg is sacrilege.

Cons: The last defense for buying this machine, besides OSX of course, was the 8 core machismo. Unfortunately for the Mac Pro, You can now you can get a Core i7 920, Sunbeam core contact freezer or TRUE, X58 T-power, and 6GB of DDR3 1600 all for about $800 dollars (or less). Core i7 runs 8 threads and when you consider the sizable bonus Core i7 architecture gives you paired with a 4GHz O.C., you will utterly destroy that pair of Xeons. The rest of the hardware In the Mac Pro can be found at a flea market for 89 cents, so I won't mention (maybe) the world of options you have for spending the rest of the 2k you would save by not buying this junk.

Overall Review: The mac pro seriously breaks my heart as a system builder. I have nothing against OSX, it's a great OS, but I strongly urge potential buyers to look at their options here (you are, apparently, already at the Egg so look around). And If you love the case this thing comes in, spend some of that leftover 2k on a tricked out Lian Li, Antec, or Cooler Master case... some of them are fantastic, super high quality, all aluminum cases. And if you game, spend $500 on a GTX295. The options are endless: Build a RAID with TB's of storage, Get a Velociraptor or SSD for your apps, double the ddr3 to 12GB's, get a Blueray player, or buy a huge monitor for your computer (actually you could do almost all of that sans the monitor for the price of the Mac Pro). Anyway you cut it this system is a rip off; is image still everything?

Nice device

Microsoft - 16GB Zune HD (BLACK)
Microsoft - 16GB Zune HD (BLACK)

Pros: my favorite thing about this is the size and weight. Feels a lot smaller and lighter than my touch making it even more pocketable than my touch. Next favorite this is the UI. It's very responsive with the touch screen, very fluid. Finding your way around the interface is really easy. The screen is just as good as everyone says. Contrary to what others say, relative to my touch, this thing is not hard to view in the daylight. Also, is it just me or is the Zune software even faster and sexier thanks to the 4.o update? The device just looks really nice, very snazzy. Had trouble getting some youtube videos onto my zune that i downloaded... then again i have no idea what format the firefox addon uses (vista just says "file" in the file type field lol). Before i forget. All that nonsense about not being able to adjust volume from your pocket? Nonsense. I can FF, RW, change track, volume, play and pause... press the side button and slide your finger around. just remember to press lo

Cons: I'm going to put this down as a con but chalk it up to a new device problem. Apps. I know most people like zune for music, but this platform just has too much potential and I would love to see it compete against the touch in that market too. Otherwise very few people will give it a chance regardless of how nice a product it is. Truthfully, apps are only really useful as long as you have wifi, and not at all useful if you have a smartphone. That said i, dont mind playing tetris or chess if im in a waiting room somewhere. I hope once microsoft looks at the reviews and realizes that have a legitimate platform they will support the heck out of if, there are a lot of people waiting for a non apple app machine. plus if they can get some integration with winndows 7, xboxx, and winmobile the ecosystem just changed dramatically.

Overall Review: The zune pass is sooo darn tempting. All you can eat for $5 bucks a month (less the ten DRM free songs you get each month)? That is not a bad deal. people dis the subscription thing all the time... yet netphlix is a no brainer for movies. if i hear a song i want on the radio i can have on my pmp as fast as it can download. Whether or not the hd takes off is ENTIRELY up to MS... so do it already guys!

Very pleased

Jabra Over-The-Ear Bluetooth Headset Black (BT530)
Jabra Over-The-Ear Bluetooth Headset Black (BT530)

Pros: Headset volume is more than adequate and rarely requires adjustment (unless listening to music... I like it louder). Haven't heard any static or distortion so far and people on the other end cannot tell the difference between me speaking through my phone or this headset. Downloaded the software for the firmware update from jabra's website. The update was very quick and easy using the directions that come with the firmware (using XP32 SP3). I checked out the online manual while i was downloading the firmware... much more helpful than the one that came with it. All of the features are simple to use and understand... I don't anticipate needing to look at the manual ever again. Pairing with my LG Dare was a simple, recognized the device correctly on the first try. buttons are easy to use, no problem with the power switch yet. great selection of earpieces. I prefer the hook because i like the security, but i'm tempted to try out the eargels. So far I can wear this for hours and not feel it!

Cons: I'm not a BT headset connoisseur... this is my first one so relative to nothing it has been amazing. I would recommend it to everyone though, its worked great so far in the car, walking around campus, and in the house. I like being able to leave my phone wherever and just walk around hands free. It's nice playing music through it... it's like having my own personal soundtrack for life. The only perceivable con would be that after a couple hours in my ear, when I wiggle it around a bunch, it does feel a little sore, but then if I stop messing with it I can't feel it again. It still startles me sometimes when I get a call and have forgotten it's in my ear.

Overall Review: This thing performs very well at everything I have used it for... it's super handy. I would suggest looking at the online manual to make sure it has all the features you need. It also seems to charge much faster than spec using the USB adapter.

1920x1200?

Westinghouse L2610NW-SP Black 25.5" 2ms(GtoG) HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor 350 cd/m2 DC 3000:1 Built in Speakers
Westinghouse L2610NW-SP Black 25.5" 2ms(GtoG) HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor 350 cd/m2 DC 3000:1 Built in Speakers

Pros: good value for a tight budget, Good picture and color, didn't notice any ghosting in games, the monitor itself looks very appealing... It work well except for an issue I'll cover later. When you unwrap this you will be very happy about the size of this thing.

Cons: Bought it from BB for 20 bucks more... just for the piece of mind and because of the eggs pixel policy. This thing absolutely does not work in 1920x1200 using the HDMI port. period. The customer service guys will act like it should, but they should know it doesn't. exchanged it only to get the same result with another unit. One westinghouse guy tried to tell me my HD3870 might not support 1920x1200... please. then they said it might be video card-monitor incompatibility... not worth my time. Everything else worked fine and looked great.

Overall Review: I washed my hands of this piece of junk... it's the principle of the matter. Just tell me i have to use VGA to get 1920x1200 resolution (didn't test the vga). all drivers are up to date, even tried other vid cards... same result. In my opinion a monitor should just work... you know, like they used to? Other than that it's a great unit, I just couldn't get over the fact that a 24" monitor can't display it's NATIVE res with the an HDMI port! anyone that gets the hdmi port to work in 1920x1200 post how you did it here so I can regret returning this otherwise great monitor.

HAHAHAHA!

Mac Desktop PC
Mac Desktop PC

Pros: "it just works"

Cons: For this price you get 2GB memory, an hd 2600xt, 320GB HDD w/8MB cache... seriously?! to actually make this more powerful than a refurbished dell laptop you would have to spend another thou!

Overall Review: yay... 2 processors... why don't you just get a good mobo, a q6600 and good cooler, and overclock those four cores to 3.6ghz? for that matter build your own with a new yorkfield and still come in cheaper than this. This machine was pathetic when it came out! Please someone post a review trying to defend this! explain to me why anyone would buy this?!
