This review is from: BIOSTAR TA880GB+ AM3 AMD 880G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
Pros: -Great features for a Micro board
-Well designed layout
Cons: -Diving board. Like others have mentioned, the board does not line up with some of the holes on the right of your case.
-The PCIE 2.0 slot is set in a location where particularly large cards will obscure about 3 of your SATA ports, and render 1 of the PCI slots unusable, possibly even both if you are hesitant about obscuring the intake fan of your GPU.
Other Thoughts: Great board, though if you are going to build a Micro ATX gaming rig like I did, be ready to lose a few SATA ports and drop any thoughts about using your PCI slots.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: APEX TX-381-C Black Steel Micro ATX Tower Computer Case
Pros: -Surprisingly Spacious
-Plenty of ventilation, as well as room for expanded cooling options in the form of a 120mm fan slot in front, and the replacement of the side CPU vent with a 70mm fan.
-Handle on top for hauling it to where you need it.
Cons: -Metal side panels are kinda flimsy and flex at the slightest touch
-The power button LED is bright Green, but the HDD activity LED is Red...not the most agreeable of color combinations.
Other Thoughts: Aside from the 2 minor gripes, I am quite pleased with this case. Plenty of room inside for for an excellent GPU, improved CPU cooler, and just about anything else you might be willing to shove in this case.READ FULL REVIEW
Long Battery Life
More Durable than it looks
Large enough screen, with a VGA output for use with larger monitors
Full of Surprises.
Cons: Multi touch seems to come and go after a few months of use, but it only does so randomly after boot up or coming out of hibernation. Rubber anti skid nubs tend to fall off after months of sliding back and forth on any surfaces.
Other Thoughts: Despite its specs, this netbook really does offer the most bang for your buck when going for quality and price. At default specs, it can handle average web browsing and simultaneous document editing. It also has enough power to play video in standard def with no issues running it alongside other low demand applications, and 720p youtube videos work fine as long as you are not doing anything else. Also, this netbook is able to play not so terribly old games and do it well (Morrowind, Dawn of War 1, and Rise of Nations are the ones I tested out with resounding success) and it also works well as a media hub for streaming HD video to your 360. Another thing worth noting is that it has a lot more processing power than you might give it credit for, which also applies to video conversion. Sure you wont be able to use the thing for about 6-8 hours when converting a standard length movie from one format to another, but it is nice to know the option exists. All in all, this is a good buy.READ FULL REVIEW
