This review is from: Rosewill LIGHTNING-1300 - 1300-Watt Modular, Active PFC Power Supply - Continuous @ 122 Degrees F (50C), 80 PLUS Gold, ATX 12V v2.31 & EPS 12V v2.92, Intel Haswell, SLI & CrossFire-Ready
Pros: Works well for a period of time. Decent price and output. The only reason I give it 2 eggs is because they are decent with the RMA's usually only about 2 weeks downtime.
Cons: I have owned 6 of these and have had to RMA all but one. And even had to RMA 2 of them a 2nd time. I don't push them beyond there limits at most I run about 1000 watts through them and they have lasted for as little as a month before needing to be RMA'd. I use them for mining and have used many different power supplies and this is the 2nd worst one that I have owned. Only one worse I bought 5 of for $40 a piece and not only did they not work but they actually damaged other components and the power supplies that they were paired with.
Other Thoughts: This is the first review I have ever written and I have spent 10s of thousands on Newegg So that should say something for my displease with this PSU. It is ok for the money if you don't mind paying for the shipping to keep getting it fixed. Atleast they are pretty decent about RMA's.READ FULL REVIEW
