This review is from: NETGEAR R8000-100NAS Nighthawk X6 AC3200 Tri-Band Gigabit Wireless Router
Pros: I purchased this last year when our old router failed. I had to get it locally due to immediate need so I bought it from local big box retailer. (Newegg is cheaper).
This is absolutely the most reliable router I have had. No problems running 24/7 for over a year in house with 6-8 people depending on the month 4 teenagers and everyone with mobile devices - phones/laptops, 2 game systems and 2 desktops. At peak we have 12+ devices attached to the three networks at a time and we have no bandwidth problems, The secret is to assign different devices to different networks so you do not get bottle necking. I covers our entire 2800 sq ft house upper and lower floors with no dead spots. Net Genie is easy to set up and the parental controls let you limit access to internet content and set time blocks. Overall I am 100% satisfied with this router.
Cons: Pricey, not needed for everyone.
Other Thoughts: Look for sales, update firmware when available to keep it current. You get what you pay for - a reliable, high end, high speed router.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: 980ti with air and water cooling potential out the box. Runs cool on air. Great looking card with solid cooler and back plate. Have not tried to water cool and will update when attached to my loop.
Cons: Barb Fittings may not be for some. They are non-standard and cannot be easily changed to compression fittings. Per Zotac these are M18 threads - this seems a bit big to me, I have not measured the yet. The lack of compression fittings may limit SLI but they can be moved to top position if needed. Moving fitting does not void warranty unless a leak causes the card to fail (Again per Zotac Tech Support).
Other Thoughts: Good for air or water cooling single card set up not sure how the water cooling set-up will fair in SLI. -1 egg for on standard barb fittings. Responsive tech support. Have had great results with Zotac products in past.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Premium + Anti-Exploit Premium - 3 PCs / 1 Year
Pros: Malwarebytes same as pro but without the lifetime license.
Anti-exploit likely helpful but not sure if makes a difference.
3 pc's make price more attractive but not as attractive as Malwarebytes Pro
Easy to install.
Worked out the box.
Cons: Poor product support (See below).
Other Thoughts: Its not Malwarebytes Pro - granted its no longer available. The yearly renewal is a down side, given that this is a secondary virus checker. However, Malwarebytes Premium and Pro are excellent products. The cost is reasonable given its spread over three machines.
I bought this for new laptop. Figured I'd try the anti-exploit option to see it made a difference, the cost of was nominal for the extra software so I gave it a try.
Both the package and Newegg Advertise that it includes both Malwarebytes Premium and Anti-exploit premium. Mine only had licences for the trial of Malwarebytes Premium. I am not sure if it is glitch with a new product or not. I contacted the company via email received a note that it would be 4 business days before I could expect a response. Its really a 4-5 egg product with 1 egg service. Likely will stick with Premium in the future, unless I can come across some unused copies of Pro.
