Worst Review Ever
Pros: Mechanical - blues *Very loud feedback (Cherry MX BLUES) Bright Orange backlighting On the fly macros
Cons: Reviewers who buy things without looking at the pictures (keyboard letter fonts for example), buy items they know nothing about and then complain (blue switches are loud), and then vent about the product in the reviews section unfairly when it was them who bought something without researching it. No option for blue/red/green backlighting.
Overall Review: See Cons.
Would recommend, but only if you don't mind DIY modifications. 3.5 eggs
Pros: Mount is flexible enough to blow air on nvme drives on the motherboard Hardware (nuts, screws, o-ring) is included
Cons: The 20mm wingnut type screw isn't long enough to exit the back hole without modifying the fan. I also needed to widen the hole on the back.
Overall Review: I tried a few (Noctua, Enermax, Mad Dog, Delta Electronics, and Ace) different fans, and a few different sizes (60mm, 80mm, 9*) and they're all beyond the 20mm. Probably need to widen those holes with a drill, or grind down the surface on the fan that you're mounting this to. (See pic) Also see the manufacturer pic on this page and you can see where their fan was modified. Removing an egg for the lack of foresight on the product's manufacturing, and a 2nd egg for only mentioning (currently) that it requires modifying your fan to make it work in one of the photos. To be fair they did show a picture of this, and they listed the screw is 20mm, so I would give 3.5 eggs if I were able. It works, but it shouldn't require a drill, or sander to get it there.
Rock Solid
Pros: *Steady at 60+FPS *Afterburner software is easy to use *Easy to OC *Cool temps *Plays everything on ULTRA (or highest setting available) with good framerates *Nice upgrade from GTX 570 *Came with Games *Purchased when it was on sale for $450
Cons: Would have liked more than 3GB RAM to prolong future proofing. Last card had 4xDVI It's not EVGA? *1 game that came with was Assassin's Creed, and UBISOFT now requires you to download and use their launcher (UPLAY). Boycotting UBISOFT until they work out their issues with Valve.
Overall Review: I almost didn't get this card because I wanted to go back to EVGA cards. My last card was a Galaxy GTX 570, which would occasionally bottleneck on Ultra settings, and came with sketchy software. I'm glad that I took the chance on MSI. Great card! I7 3770 OC 4.2ghz 16gb (2x8) Crucial Ballistix (not the sport) Corsair TX750 MSI N780 GTX 780 Antec 300 Case *air
So far so good
Pros: Playing games at 1080p, at 120hz makes games seem seemless, shiny. The matte screen's great when playing during the day (no reflection off the glass). The screen's height is closer to the same as my 22" Samsungs, than my 24" Samsung's was. It looks like it was made to go with them, just wider..
Cons: It took me about 20 minutes of troubleshooting to figure out that I needed to unplug all other monitors that I had hooked up, for the settings to work with 1080p @ 120hz. The highest that I could get before that, even with the dualdvi cable that came with it, was much lower resolution. AGAIN... REMOVE ALL OTHER VIDEO MONITOR CABLES FROM YOUR CARD, THEN ONLY HOOK UP THIS MONITOR FIRST. Get your settings right, then hook up your other monitors.
Overall Review: Great monitor overall. I thought about getting the 27", but playing games on larger screens up close is great if you're a casual gamer, but if you're into FPS there's no question that this is the better choice in my opinion. I guess it all depends on how far back your face is from the screen.
XBOX 360 RED RING
Pros: looks like it could work.
Cons: Did not stop my 360 from getting the dreaded Red Ring of death...
Overall Review: Save your money, but a real fan to blow on it and make sure that your 360's in a very well ventillated area.
Junk
Pros: The software that comes with it is decent. Everything is easy to get to and well laid out.
Cons: 2 Memory slots died within 3 weeks of owning this board. Board has a difficult time recognizing SATA hard drives.
Overall Review: Fast shipping from Newegg. It's not their fault that that this board **** the bed on me.
