Pros: -Has good adaptability, lots of customization available through HERA if you know how to use it.
-Good button placement
Cons: -Not for people with medium to large hands, even on the most expanded setting this thing gives me hand cramps
-My left click fails sometimes, hangs in a clicked state so I have to click again to "unstick" it.
-Not all lights are adjustable color
-Software is a little counter intuitive and seems invasive to the system.
Other Thoughts: Decent if you have smaller hands, that's my primary gripe.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Handles everything no problem, achieved a score of 11442 on 3D Mark.
Looks beastly, just holding it gives you a sense of what you are about to experience.
Remains cool even under heavy load, maxes around 45c
Cons: Makes an incredibly annoying whine from the capacitors when not in use, like internet browsing. Worse for me because my case's design doesn't insulate sound well.
Powerjack, need I say more.
Other Thoughts: The powerjack isn't necessary but when you pay for this much the least they can do is throw in a quality piece of garbage you won't use.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Microsoft SIDEWINDER X4 Keyboard - Retail
Pros: Nice feeling and looking keyboard, I like the back lighting and bottom grip texture.
Media controls and keyboard profiles are great.
Cons: The sound buttons were a little broken at first, I had to unplug my board and plug it back in after every start up for them to work. Eventually that worked itself out, not sure how.
The macro keys are easy to program but painfully slow to execute. Several seconds pause between each key stroke, which makes it useless for quickly doing a laborious task that requires repetition of the same keys. The main reason I wanted macro keys.
Other Thoughts: I like it but the macros are only useful if you are into MMO's and maybe not even then.READ FULL REVIEW
