Pros: This thing is huge! Im surprised its not a full size case but im not complaining. I have so much room to do cable management till my hearts desire. I couldnt find any case that had all the features and room like this one does. I filled all my parts in to it and looks really good.
quite! I dont have any fan controller but i dont need one. the sound is half of what my rosewell challenger was. the noise is not high pitch or anything just a subtle deep whooshing sound from the air moving.
rubber mat in the cubby hole on top of the case, kinda nice and removeable to be cleaned. holds usb sticks and misc items.
psu cover thingy is so brilliant! I have a modular psu but it just makes it look so much cleaner covering up the grommet with a bunch of cords being fed thru it.
Cons: the grommets are really nice and flexible which is a good thing but with little effort you can pop the rubber seals and takes a couple minutes to get it seated in the cut out again. not worth docking an egg more of an fyi. the filters are a little bare, not easily slideable but id rather have cheaper filters and a better case overall.
Other Thoughts: If you have a broken part on ur case, its not coolermasters fault, these things can take a beating when being shipped, it happens, life moves on. talk to coolermaster and they will send you replacement parts usually for free. so dont get ur panties in a bunch and review the case with 1 egg cause ups broke something.
front red light is very subtle not blinding. I use the hotswap bay even for my HDD im not removing, it just makes cables easier to manage and frees up airflow from the front intake fan.
All my temps dropped about 5 degrees C. core temps went from 55-56 under load to 49-50. my GPU temps stay right at 50 as well.
this thing is heavy, dont be expecting to throw all ur parts in it and easily move it from LAN party to LAN party. its a good 35-40lbs with everything in it.
Pros: styling is really nice.
i like the rubber sleeve plus hard shell, makes it feel like it has more protection than an average hard plastic case.
you wont have to worry about the case popping off, really secure to the phone
Cons: -since its a really snug fit to the phone you will have difficulties taking it off if needed. I felt like i was going to snap it.
Other Thoughts: -since u dont take the case off very much the con is more off a picky con but what ever.
-also i bought this case at the AT&T store for $30! make sure u buy it here on newegg.
Pros: benchmarked it on a couple games. Used fraps to log my fps. these are non overclocked benchmarks.
Skyrim everything maxed out completely! had a max of 60fps (Vsync duhhh no one likes tearing) and had a minimum of 57 FPS during the benchmark.
CoD:mw3 again everything maxed out benchmark never left 60FPS in the heat of battle. turned of Vsync and and maxed out at 91 FPS but looked horrible from tearing.
played grid as well for fun and it never left 60 FPS.
Cons: None! just dont run ur fan at 100% sounds like a plane taking off.
Other Thoughts: Huge step up from xfx 6670! couldnt be more happy. again on the fan, temps never broke 60degrees while under load. my 6670 would reach 66 with a tiny TINY!!!! fan so this thing stays cool as a cucumber. Im not a fancy OC so i just use the CCC from XFX and you can OC it easily and it has the option to over volt as well up to 20% or under volt it to -20% didnt no that till i installed the card... so pretty cool feature.
Im sure some people had problems with drivers or rebates but that is no reason to down grade this card. everything has a problem once and awhile... it happends get over it. if you know how to install a piece of hardware you will have 0 head aches. even a beginner will be able to install easily... and rebates are rebates... no company likes to give money back so it will take a very very long time! get over it
