Pros: One of the best bang-for-the-buck CPUs out there right now. How can you not love 8 cores of 4.0GHz?
Cons: The CPU Cooler is LOUD. No, I'm not just being picky here. When the CPU is idling it's acceptable. But push the speeds up just a little bit and it sounds like a JET! Seriously. I'm not sure what AMD was thinking when they deciding to include this cpu cooler.
Other Thoughts: I got an aftermarket cooler within days of installing this CPU/cooler setup. I purchased the Cooler Master 212 Evo an now I can't hear it at all.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Aluratek ADPF08SF 8" 800 x 600 Digital Photo Frame
Pros: Wanted a semi-cheap frame to showcase our family pictures, and this fit the bill. Quality is fine, we're viewing it from across the living room. I'm sure if it were sitting 3 feet from me, I'd get a higher res screen. Easy setup, in that there aren't a whole lot of options to choose from. Just transition type and stuff like that.
Cons: There really isn't any "random" mode for slideshow. Whatever order it decides for your pictures, that's the order you'll see. Forever. I'm not sure whether is uses filename or datestamp or something else to determine the photo order. Doesn't really matter because even if you manipulated it, you're stuck with that order.
Don't really mind the non-random, because as it stands now it goes sort of chronological, which makes sense.
Pros: Feels pretty solid, interesting design. Not like I'll be staring at it inside my box, but it looked cool.
Quiet, as advertised. Keep in mind the fan RPM is controlled by the motherboard, this is not the type of fan with a 3 speed switch. Because of this, I don't know how fast it's spinning, but whatever it's doing now, it's silent.
Cons: Nothing yet, we'll see how long it lasts.READ FULL REVIEW
