Pros: Image quality! Deep blacks and imperceptible response time (non-gamer).
Overall, the monitor has a nice design. Matte gray, thin bezel with a textured stand and back case. The cables are protected by a flip-cover in the back, so they are well hidden. Plus, they are directed down which is nice as well for aesthetics and for placing the monitor flush with the wall. I've had no problems with the monitor waking-up from sleep once connected via HDMI.
While I haven't changed from the default video settings, ASUS has a split-screen mode where you can immediately see how tweaking the parameters affects the image in real time. Very cool and functional.
Cons: The matte screen does obscure very tiny fonts, but this is a problem with all large 1080p monitors.
The galaxy S4 uses an 11-pin MHL connection, so the included cable will charge (slowly) but not sync images or audio from the phone (-1 star). I believe an adapter can be purchased, but I'm not sure if that will fix the problem.
Other Thoughts: Great purchase and good price. At <$150 with rebate, I can't see a much better deal for a quality IPS display and tons of connectivity options.READ FULL REVIEW
