Acer H6510BD FHD 1920x1080 (Up to 300” Display Size) 2 HDMI Inputs w/ Carrying Bag 3000 ANSI Lumens 3D DLP Projector

Pros: In my opinion you will have a hard time beating the image quality of this projector without going well over $1000. I project on a base level screen and the image is as clear as my 46" HD TV in my living room.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Unless you're looking for 4K image quality this projector will be hard to beat. I do not use the speakers on the projector, but for the short time I did use them during the test of the system they were pretty basic. It sounds about like the speakers ion a cheap TV, but I'm running the audio through a 5.1 AV Receiver.

4 out of 5 eggs Don't bother ordering it on the tube 04/11/2015

This review is from: Carl’s Blackout Cloth, 16:9, 66x110-inch, Projector Screen Material, White, 1.0, Tube

Pros: Excellent image quality for the cost. I am projecting with a moderately decent 1080p projector, and the image quality is as good as my 46" HD TV in my living room as long as I have lower lighting levels. With all the mid day light I can still enjoy the image, but it is a little washed out which is to be expected.

Cons: Don't waste the extra money buying it on the tube, as I did. It still came folded in a bag. Once stretched out on the frame the folds flatten out. This shouldn't be marketed as on a tube, when it isn't.

Other Thoughts: I love the image quality I get for the cost, but I don't like the bait and switch I got with it being folded in a bag and not on a tube roll.

PyleHome PT590AU A/V Receiver - 350 W RMS - 5.1 Channel
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: less than 1 day

Pros: It looked cool sitting on the stand

Cons: I have to expect I had an unusual experience. The day I hooked this receiver up all I got was mostly static. The left channels worked only about 30% of the time, and you could hardly understand what was being said. It sounded worse than an old AM radio with no antenna. Luckily the seller I purchased this from gladly accepted the return, and was so concerned with my satisfaction I really wanted to allow them to replace it, but I had a deadline of just 2 days before I had to have the system set up. If it weren't for the seller I would have only given this one egg.

Other Thoughts: My situation may have simply been one of misfortune, and they did not have the opportunity to replace the defective receiver. Since I always try to give a fair review of every item I buy, I am including this note.
