Microsoft SIDEWINDER X4 Keyboard - Retail

1 out of 5 eggs Macros do not work 03/28/2014

This review is from: Microsoft SIDEWINDER X4 Keyboard - Retail

Pros: If you play DAOC and want to become angry, then this is the keyboard for you.

Cons: Does not work for Dark Age of Camelot.

Other Thoughts: Macro keys are not recognized in Dark Age of Camelot. MY old Logitech keyboard worked fine in the game. I figured I would replace it with trustable Microsoft keyboard because i didnt want to test fate...MS hardware should run right with virtually everything. Alas...macros dont do anything in Dark Age of Camelot, the LONE gaming application i bought a GAMING keyboard for, Box is in the garbage. I am stuck with this piece of junk, and very unhappy.

Razer Naga MMO Gaming Mouse

1 out of 5 eggs Didnt last 1 year 02/15/2014

This review is from: Razer Naga MMO Gaming Mouse

Pros: Lots of button

Cons: Terrible product lifecycle. Low durability. Tactile experience somewhat scrotile.

Other Thoughts: Gamers are like race car drivers, and their computers while often NOT race car quality, get hammered and beat on. The ONE thing a gamer rig is the wherewithal to handle some beatings, and this mouse under my tenure had a relatively easy go at things. Its total death was about as surprising to me as a teenager dropping dead in gym class or something. This is a good idea, but poor execution. Razer should either buid the mouse right, or license it to Logitech or some other capable manufacturer.
