a fast ssd make this almost perfect
Pros: light, fast, 6gb memory. After switch to a 128GB SSD with >280mb/s reading and writing, this thing boots up instantly, and all the programs are loaded so quick. There is no hard drive click and not fan noise anymore. Get a good SSD, it will change everything
Cons: Not SSD, not win 7 pro
worked for one day
Pros: Nice layout and features if it works. EFI board
Cons: Worked for one day. Then start beeping, won't boot. Returned and got ASUS Z8NA-D6C, couldn't be happier. Will stay away from Intel. Never had any luck with intel boards. Two server boards bought two years ago were dead after six months, this time just lasted for one day.
Overall Review: If you don't use 130W xeons and overclocking, get Z8NA-D6C.
Be sure to turn on Quiet & Cool
Pros: Fast, Good for the money!
Cons: Updated from 4600+ 65W. It definitely runs hot at full load. I am using Zalman 9700NT, you can hear the CPU fan sreams at full load, temperature just shoot up from idle 37 to 59-62C. This never happened to my 4600+ with 9700NT. 125W is no joke.
Overall Review: Planned to buy 9850 quad, then thought I would never hit all four cores. My AM2 MB would not take full use of the 9850 anyway.
This is the one!
Comments: I rarely write reviews, but this one deserves a 5 stars! It is your slower harddrive that holds your back! I got it from dell for $xxx on a backorder for 2 months! Anyway got it today, and I am happy!
