This review is from: ASUS Black 12X Blu-ray Burner SATA BW-12B1ST/BLK/G/AS
Pros: The drive is solid, when it works. It read blu ray, and everything below it.
Cons: Three days after the warranty expired, so did the drive. It's a power issue, tested on multiple computers and multiple operating systems. The tray won't even come out. Don't buy this drive it you want it to last longer then a year.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: The LED lights are way better then the old tones. One look and you know what's wrong. No issues with the motherboard, and it looks tuff. The software that comes with the motherboard is pretty solid too. Allowing one to control fan speeds as well as monitor motherboard temps.
Cons: There's one sensor near the north bridge that is always hotter then everything else under load. This hasn't caused me issues, and it may just be the normal functionality of this board.
Also, there is no PCI 3.0. Only PCI 2.0. Not worth taking an egg off for because even if I did have PCI 3.0 for my video card, games don't fully utilize the faster transfer speeds anyway... and probably won't for some time.
Other Thoughts: Overall, very happy.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Rosewill RX750-S-B - Xtreme Series 750-Watt Active PFC Power Supply - Continuous @ 104 Deg. F (40C), 80 PLUS Bronze, ATX 12V v2.2 & EPS 12V v2.91, SLI & CrossFire-Ready, Compatible with Core i7, i5
Pros: Good PSU, does what it's supposed to without shorting or exploding.
Cons: No detachable cables. Which, isn't the PSU's fault, cuz it says the cables don't detach. But going forward I see now how worthwhile it is to have those detachable cables for better cable management.READ FULL REVIEW
